hi, i found online a recipe for an organic soil mix.

i wonder if i can use the same soil for veg and flower?

for 1 cubic foot (7.5gal)

2.5gal peat moss

2.5gal perlite
2.5gal earth worm casting
1 cup lime

1cup Kelp meal
1.5cup bat guanno
4 cup greensand

thanks for the advice

Take off kelp, bat guano and greensand, and you're ready to go :thumb:

Hit them once with nitrogen + solid dose of micronutrients in veg, and twice with pure cation solution in flower to enhance the positive CEC, and that'll do the job.

if i understand well, i mix EWC woth perlite, dolomite lime and peat moss.

then i water them once with nitrogen and solid dose of micronutrients in veg

then i water twice with pure cation solution in flower.

thanks conradino for your help, it is really appreciated.

cheers

Yes that's about it if you want the tastiest and strongest medicine in High Brix region :thumb: As a nitrogen fert I'd use something relatively low in N like compost tea, some kelp maybe or even seaweed, but don't overdo it. I personally use a mixture of stinging nettle and horsetail, but don't know how it will be available in your parts. Now to understand well what is CEC just google it and check how it works, with your mix it's gonna be pretty high, so you just need to inoculate with mycorrhizae as soon as you pop the seed to make sure they're getting the help they need to develop the root. To make them absorb cations you need to use a mixture of phosphorus+calcium+magnesium+sulphur with low potassium and low nitrogen, just see what works for you best here :tokin:
