Is this dead?

I have had very good success with seedlings after several failed attempts. It's all about the roots:
  • Soak seed overnight, place one knuckle deep in coco/soil, lightly water with pH 5.8-6.2 water for coco and Clonex "Solution" not gel, mist them gently, and then usually in 3 days you'll have a healthy sprout. If in soil pH is not a major issue since soil buffers, but get them some food. Clonex "Solution" is baby food for plants. Look at the roots on this 15-day of plant in Fox Farms Ocean Forest with Clonex Solution.

If memory is serving me right, damping off is a result of a soil surface that is to wet which allows a fungus to grow and attack the stem. Once it starts it is to late.

@Madmaths, consider all the suggestions and include some sort of soft gently air movement over the plant. That helps to keep the stem and soil surface from becoming to damp.
Yup, had it a few times. I start them in rockwools and it's really easy to keep them too wet. Had an hbss from Mephisto that I never noticed untill it had 4 nodes...then keeled over and died lol.
Growing weeds easy but getting the fuckers started can take a bit of practice.

You guys think my led is ok or I should switch to cfl? Led is 6500k Its made for aquarium with live plant... ( those plant will be outdoors plants...)

I would watch the height of it. How close is it to your plants? How many watts?
I'm guessing between 35-45 watts.

thanks for the reply! I bought this led about 3-4 year ago.. but I think those are the spec
  • Lumen: 5200
  • LEDs: 120x 0.50 watt
  • Config: 104x 6500K, 16x Actinic
and the top of my plant are about 3/4 to a inch close to the fixture

Hey! Just want to give you some update of my girls, all 3 are going good! ( I think) the small one is the one that was stretching, I just replant the seedling deeper and she look happy now! Those will be outside but I still keep them inside ( to cold) but to day is a nice sunny with no wind so this is there first sun bath ! Thanks again for all the tips! This forum is so great!

If they aren't used to full sun you'll want to harden them off. This means that you don't want to put them all day in full sun, but in a shady place for a few hours and everyday give them a little time in full sun, extending that time daily.Full sun will fry plants that aren't used to it.
