Is this normal?

What do folks use instead of clay pots?
I am posting pics of my single sad plant ( low dwarf flyer)after 4 weeks. Still on 18/6 light schedule. I have added no nutrients and have tried to avoid overwatering. Clearly this is my first attempt at growing. Thnx for any advice!

Most folks use various types of plastic pots....pics of your plant?

Here are pics. Thnx

The newest growth looks pretty good, not nearly as sad as 2 weeks ago
You could fill that pot up a little more to shorten the stem,or transplant to a plastic pot and bury it a little deeper.
Do you know if the soil you're using has nutes in it?
It's not really showing any deficiencies yet,so I don't think you need to feed it quite yet.

If you're sure there's no nutes in the soil, you could probably give it a mild dose-start at 1/4 strength or so
of whatever you're going to feed it.
It's too early to top it,so you just need to let it grow for awhile, and more light definitely wouldn't hurt,
weak light would account for the slow growth-your lights are close enough, but lack the intensity needed to make the plant really thrive-as the plant gets bigger, the disadvantages of weak light will become even more apparent...

Way too little growth. As a novice I know I’m doing things wrong. Maybe light is an issue or nutrients?? Plant is 6” tall.
