So today, about noon in Berkeley @ BPG and I'm backing out to leave to go last minute Christmas shopping after half dozen vapes and getting some meds for my Xmas.. lo and behold I look up and there's Jack Herer being escorted into the dispencary.. I stop the car, get out, say hello to Jack and shake his hand, we hug, wish him a Happy Holiday and thank him again for what he did for Mr P420.

That was it.. small world, my second Jack encounter in the last three months.. only in California.. only in Berzerkeley! Cool.

Jack (66 yrs old)suffered a stroke ( Jul, 2000). "The Hemperor", when I saw him at Wonders, was recovering from a quad heart by-pass.. not a well man.

Jack signed and personalized his book "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" to P420 when I was at Wonders of Cannabis in Golden Gate Park in SF. Then I mailed it to him in Canada.

The man is a living legend. He broke alot of new ground for pot users. Check his site if you have time. He moved to Northern California from LA area like I did just recently.

Yeah, he is burned out.. more due to his health.. by-pass is a pretty heavy operation.. probably a little burned ouit from drugs too. That's just a guess.
But yes very cool and very hospitable man.

Wonderful man I had the pleasure of meeting him and 2004 Seattle hempfest. Not only did I get my shirt signed by the hempeor but I had the pleasure of smoking with him and also getting a picture with him. Definitely a great man.
