I am currently on day 4 since the 12/12 light schedule. This must be a hybrid as it is still growing.

all plants will stretch on the flip for at least a week or two
indicas stretch but not as much

Will they just stretch or will there be new growth creating more bud sites. In the past 2 grows I've had weird results. First grow never stopped growing taller. I had to wrap the colas around a wire frame. The second grow grew more shoots for about a month or two, finally stopped, then fattened up.

Could it be my grow lights?

all plants are different unless its stabilized most arent so you will see differences in plants even from the same batch of seeds, thats where selection comes in.
thats how this big name guys do it and only put out primo looking buds
the select so many out of hundreds people like us most times cant do that so its a longer process if you are pheno hunting
what may take them a year will take others years
but selection is important if you want to find the fire.
so you results will always differ even if everything else is always the same.
best way for consistent results is find a good keeper and clone it it will always grow the same.
unless like i said it is a stabilized genetic which takes at least 3 back crosses, most breeders nowadays dont go that far
im not gonna say all of them tho

Ok. Basically what you see on the websites is not what you're going to get.

i have had seeds that match the description
i have ordered same seeds that havent matched the description when grown
the other issue is trusting the seed bank or breeder you are getting seeds from
if the work was done by the breeder then it should be good but not all "breeders" do the work of stabilization

Ah, gotcha. My first grow was weird. I had light leaked, heat issues, but a decent yield, although it did herm

Second grow was super successful. Yield was less due to not pruning properly.

This one so far has been stable and I'm looking forward to the outcome.

Week 3 day 5, should I defoliate for better light on budsites?
