Jack The Ripper

I should defoliate these some more (Jack the Ripper):

Still no signs of sex yet.
We are waiting on an Afhgani reg to show sex. Seems it's taking its sweet time too. Lol!

You might get lucky and have all females. In my experience males show sex first.

Yes all my males showed first and they grew tall....strong...not short and bushy like the girls. The boys had wide internodes. They looked totally different than the girls prior to them showing sex. I have two more that I think are boys... out if 15 I have four boys so far...

Summary: My apologies to everybody that wanted to see the end results of this grow, but it's done. This is my second and last attempt to grow Jack the Ripper. I just sat here and wanted to give some kind of review, but it's just not worth typing about. I was really hoping that male branch was the extra runt plant I got from this grow (which got smothered from the hermie plant, by the way), but I saw a second branch with male flowers on it before I even looked at the bottom of the plant.

:420:

It might not turn a total loss. I decided after looking at that hermie and realizing how much money and time I lost to take a look at the runt. With everything else gone bad in this grow, I thought, "Why would I even want it?" But it was a female. I knew I couldn't get it out of the bigger plant's rootball, so I cut it off at the base and put it in a glass of water under a 24/0 CFL. If it lives, I'll put it in my odds and ends journal. :wood:

That little runt Jack the Ripper plant I cut off at the base and put into the cup of water turned green again and stood up. :jawdropper: It was a little yellow from being under the canopy and having a shade leaf laying on it. The stem was weak and thin, too. A weed plant's ability to recover from damage is amazing!

There it is, curled but alive. The last Jack the Ripper runt plant:

It looks a little worse than it did when I first cut it off, and I cut about 5" off the bottom of the stem too, so I'm not gonna get my hopes up. It's the first time I've ever tried doing this (cutting a runt plant off at the main stem and treating it like a clone, and rooting a cutting in a cup of water both). If it lives and it's not a hermie too I'll be posting pics of it here and there. :)
