Jodyhighrollr's Gelato OG & Pineapple Express #2: 2019 Quadline

Hey everybody. Haven’t updated in a while. Transplanted the plants 3-4 days ago and moved them into the bigger tent. Going to tie them down again and let them veg for another 2-3 weeks then I will switch to flower!

@stoneotter Hey buddy! I started them in nursery pots.. I can’t remember the size but I read online they hold 2.25 gallons(could be wrong) and the pots they are in now are 7 Gallon smart pots. You can’t see them but I got these really neat plant caddys on amazon for pretty cheap and they now slide really nicely. Has made watering super easy now that I don’t have to move around to get to plants or duck under a screen and can just wheel them around. Scrogging was infuriating and made me decide to make everything about my setup as easy as possible. After work I’m going to use some paper clips and tie those plants down some more. Wanted to do sooner but have been crazy busy. Take it easy - jodyhighrollr

7's sound good Jody. Quad for the win brother!

Hey everybody. Posting a quick update. I meant to do some work on it a few days ago but just got busy with the holidays and errands then my father had a heart attack last night. He is doing well and really it was the blockage of an old stint from a previous heart attack but scary nonetheless. Happy I was at his house and that we were able to go as soon as he felt symptoms. He will be out in 2-3 days and my mother is a nurse so she will be monitoring even though he was walking around no problem today when my sisters and I stopped to visit him.

So now about the plants. I transplanted then and posted an update about that but they responded really well to it and are growing quickly. I tied down the quad lines again without any mistakes haha. I almost turned one of the quad lines into a triline when transplanting but I taped it and propped it up and it seems to still be growing well. I’m just going to dump some pictures so you can see the progress. I will also post a picture of the auto flower seedsman sent me on accident so you can see the progress of the nugs. I will start some more seeds soon for the free space I’ll have in the flower tent and hope to harvest once a month.

This picture below is the plant I almost turned into a triline. I didn’t tie that branch down again so it can heal.

Hey everybody just posting a quick update. Going to die down the bottoms shoots of each branch because they’re getting super tall and I think it’d be good for making a nice canopy and they’re still pretty malleable. Almost split a plant in half tying it down more.. that was two days ago and the plant isn’t slowing down, I am interested to see what it will look like when I take off the tape. Going to start some more seeds tomorrow after work and do some defoliating.

and this last plant is the gelato that I almost turned into a triline and almost split in half. No signs of slowing down, really stoked about these plants.

Will do an update again soon when I start these next seeds and do some more defoliating and trimming. Take it easy

Hey everybody. Just posting a quick update mainly for future reference for myself. Just did a pretty heavy defoliation of power nodes I didn’t think would reach the canopy during stretch. I tied down the first shoots of the main branches because they were getting really tall and create a nice even flat canopy that is going to produce a lot of bud and get equal amount of light. After stretch my goal is to put two plants under each of the 600w hps lights I have(I have 4 lights in my flower tent and just started more seeds and want to get to a harvest once every month even if it’s just two big plants.

and I started 5 more seeds.. may be more than I need but wanted to be sure to have at least 4. 2 green crack are starting to pop and 3 fem gelato og. I’m not sure if the green cracks are feminized or not but it’d be nice if both are female.. 16/16 for germination using root riots far.

Wow Jodi they look great! I missed a few of your posts. Hope your dad is doing well. Sounds like he's in good hands.
A good stretch and you're golden for some heavy buddage!
Thanks otter! I can tell they are starting to stretch. My dad is doing great thank you. Hope all is well on your end. Really excited to see the size of the nugs and how they fill in the the space under each light. Two aren't quadline and honestly I'm not as excited about them. Wish I had trained them a little more but from now on I will be quadlining I think. Such a nice flat and wide canopy for two plants. I will post some picture to quadsquad thread after they start to stretch and form some buds!! Take it easy!!
