Wheelchair Repair Photo Drop

Unbeknownst to you guys, my elevating electric wheelchair has been out of commission for a while. This is why all the pictures have been from below lately. Fixed as of today. Here’s some new perspectives.

Can't say I've noticed...must have been distracted by the gorgeous plants!
:welldone: done getting the chair fixed.
Thanks Shed! Owning an electric wheelchair with all the bells and whistles is much like owning a boat. These things define the term “built in obsolescence.”

Res Change
Watermelon WeddingCake
Root Porn!!

Changing the res and thought I’d try and show you the extent of the roots on this plant if you can tell in the picture. So both pots are filled with roots. The bottom internal part inside the bottom pot is filled too. And the picture shows the extent to which they are now filling the 30 gallon tote. Astounding.

Tossed in a few tower pics too. Heh.

I'm just glad to hear the repair shop wasn't destroyed by Ian!
Heh. Funny you mention that - the repair shop is Naples Mobility Repair. He’s a solo dude named Larry who used to work on vintage Porsche engines and Cessnas. Now he’s a rich retired mechanic who drives to peoples houses and fixes their chairs. He’s 70 years old and in amazing shape. He also grows mushrooms. It’s possible that he and I may have worked out a trade or two. Can’t remember at the moment.

Saturday Bud Focus
Forbidden Runtz XXL Autoflower
Day 77

Here’s a few things to know about this strain (reminders as we are real close here):

- Forbidden Fruit x Runtz
- 70/30 indica heavy hybrid
- THC 28-30%
- 9-11 weeks from seed
- Genetics: Growers Choice

Here’s what they are advertising the finished bud to look like:

New Project Early Steps

So I gotta give some serious props to @InTheShed on this one - he has mentioned more than once that maybe it would be cool to make a pipe out of one of my worthy stems. He’s sent me links with examples and how-to’s. Not saying he bugged me, not in the least - just helped to keep it in the forefront of my mind. So thanks very much Shed, because I’m finally going to take you up on the challenge!!!

Allow me to unveil here, for the first time in the United States, (heh) my very first Make A Pipe From A Stem effort!!!

So, this is from the stem of the Banana Sherbet scrog plant. It’s been sitting in the sun outside since harvest. I have been eyeing it and trying to figure out how I could make it into a cool pipe. I do possess basic woodworking skills, so I know I can make *something* work. By today it was pretty damn dry and I came up with a vision. Wasn’t sure it was going to work as intended until I went to work with the hacksaw today.

Here’s the starting point for my vision. It’s pretty easy to get - you guys see where I’m coming from? How badass are the wings that keep it sitting straight?! It shouldn’t even be very hard to drill out. And I’ll have a blast finishing it.

I’m not going to name it after you,, but thanks again Shed!

White Widow

I can’t express how much I love this plant. I’m growing this again asap.

In these pictures I attempted to capture the shimmer this girl has. Every leaf is covered in trichomes. The plant is shiny, silvery whiteish green. It’s so gorgeous and it doesn’t really come through in the pictures as much as I’d like. I wish you guys could see it live. I guess White Widow is always like this, and many of you are already familiar with the love. It’s new to me and I can’t stop looking at her.

I can only take credit for mentioning it, credit for the idea goes to BeezLuiz. For those who haven't seen it, here is his great tutorial:

Can't wait to see your handiwork Jon!
