Journey 2: CBD Lemon Potion Auto & WW Auto

The plant is so busy making buds it forgot how to make leaves!

The plant itself must be on some good meds :lot-o-toke:

Ya that seems to be a theme around these parts :)

It's times like these that the classic phrase "yes dear" could never be used too much.

Beautiful buds buddy! Haha I’m sure those thick CBD nugs will pay off!

Wacky leaf there as well! Nice WW!

:thanks: - I'm sure they will too! As I write this I'm preparing to sample some of a tester nug of the LPa. Thank you all again for the help and kind words.

Evening everybody.

Nothing major to report today, day 72. I've just been watering with plain non ph'd water. Widows should be getting close to harvest by the end of this week. Still no real amber trichomes. :bongrip:

Found a wacky leaf and a couple more bud shots :)

lookin good dude!

just remind the Mrs about how great the bud is gonna be, and how much $$ you're saving. a couple tokes and she'll be on Cloud 420 with ya! :Rasta:

Day 73

The stress has finally got to WW 1 and started to hermie. The other day I noticed a rather swollen calyx. I didn't think much of it this late in flower as I have literally just been checking trichs daily to chop this at one as soon as possible. When checking today I noticed a couple little pollen sacs very low. That's enough for me to CHOP! :D - This poor plant has been put through the ringer lol.

Beauty man!

Great size :thumb:

Got my mouth watering , hope mine turn out half as good as that!

Subb'd. Late, but I noticed we are running the same equipment. Except, looks like your cloudline is a 4 inch. Has it been running much for you. My 6 inch barely comes on at all with the parameters I set. Which is 76 degrees F and 66 percent Humidity.

man that's good stuff. wish I knew how to separate the branches like that for max light and wind exposure.

how long has it been flowering?

Just some good ole fashion LST. I really like the spread I got with this plant. Even with it's issues nearly all the buds even just a few inches off the soil line are good size and dense!

Good question haha, it's day 73 so roughly 7 weeks if I remember right. The Lemon Potions were done 65/66, a fair bit quicker.

I'm sure they will be fantastic, things are going to start happening quickly in the next few weeks for you.

On the plus side, it's too old to produce seeds!

Good to know! I was looking for any excuse to chop this one down after letting it go this long :)

Welcome aboard! Better late than never eh?

Yes my Cloudline is a 4" T4. I have it set to somewhere between fan speed 5 or 6 depending on the ambient temp in the house. It keeps my canopy level temp in the mid 70's. I do have the humidity alarm set to ramp up the fan in the event the humidity level ever got too high. Truthfully this only ever happened when I did some foliar sprays back in early veg. Overall I'm super pleased with it and plan to get another 4" in the future to replace my dinky little inlet fan.

If your in a basement like me, its 66 degree nights and 70 degree days....but....Winter is coming.

Similar temps here. My intake fan is pretty weak so I'm running negative pressure in the tent and allowing the exhaust to do the work. I probably should have gone 6" to be future proof (bigger tent) but the 4" has way more than enough power for what I'm doing right now. Especially once I add another 4" and charcoal filter on the exhaust to make the Mrs happy. Happy wife happy life right?

Winter IS definitely coming haha

It's good to keep the fan cycling as you want to bring in CO2 for the guys and gals. They recommend changing the air every two minutes but I think that's overkill for a lot of us. But at least you're aware of the needs. It doesn't hurt to turn the fans on manual for an hour or more so that you can move things in and out.

Day 74

WW 2 - I need to check trichomes again, it's been a couple days. Very healthy still.

WW 1 - Trimmed a little last night and finished up this morning. Totally blew my expectations out of the water. Despite having the issues it did, it managed a wet trimmed weight of 285.52g. Great buds top to bottom thanks to the LST and inadvertent heavy defoliation due to dead/dying leaves. Used a lot more brown paper bags this time :D

LPa 1 and 2 - They've both been in the fridge about a week. I've shaken them around every couple days and inspected most of the bags. They are coming along nicely and smell just as good as the day I chopped them.

I didn't really take many photos but I'm super happy with the overall weight. Looking forward to dry weights

Looks nummy, thanks for the bud porn!

My pleasure, more to come when I harvest that other WW :D

Nice harvest from that WW! I grew 2 CK WW last spring and they were tremendous. Still smoking those buds. The second one produced 73.5g dry and the first was 90 something!

Awesome! I'm real happy with the wet weight (not that it means much), can't wait till they are dried and cured :yahoo:

Evening shots of the remaining Widow (cell phone)

WW 2 is the frostiest, smelliest and most colourful of the 4 plants I grew this round. We'll see what she yields but truthfully I don't even care. I just love this one. :circle-of-love: She took a little water this evening, I'm guessing the last before harvest which will likely be this weekend. On that note I think I'm going to drop some fresh beans this weekend as well :). With so many new seeds on the way to go along with what I already have on hand, I think I'll be creating a new journal in the future with a more perpetual/ongoing theme.

Long overdue update!

Where do I begin? Thanksgiving weekend was very busy and I didn't end up chopping the last WW until Tuesday/Wednesday. Monday we had a mix of work and then I came home and made two turkey's worth of soup.

WW2 was one stinky and sticky plant. All said and done a wet weight of 259.64g

LPa 1 and 2 have moved into jars after spending some time in bags out of the fridge and dry enough to give official weights.

LPa 2 chopped day 65: 49.32g
LPa 1 chopped day 66: 42.58g

Roughly 1.75oz and 1.5oz respectively, I am happy with that. Surprisingly enough, both harvests have a completely different smell profile. One is extremely smooth and light with a very fresh lemon scent. The Mrs approves of this one. The other buds however have taken on a rather strange earthy scent with considerably less lemon. The Mrs compared that one to "highschool" weed lol.

WW1 was dried in paper bags but not in the fridge like the LPa's. The buds are now in jars and slowly bringing down the humidity level to the optimal cure zone.

Given the wet to dry weights of the LPa's, I think I am looking at roughly 8.5oz dry weight from the 4 plants this run. Real numbers to come in the near future for the widows.

In other news, I did not get around to popping new beans. I should be starting a new journal with the new ones in the next couple days while I give my grow area/tent a clean.

Oh and it looks like I've got some catching up to do on other journals!
