Kingjay's First Grow - Indoors - Soil - LED - Bag Seed Gamble

And then there was one. The other plant turned out to be male so I chopped it quick. A week into flower now. Started using a little kelp meal. Been watering every two days now. Did my first foliar feeding with a half strength kelp tea. Probably my last time doing that. I am concerned about mold or mildew. I did it just before the lights went out so I could take my time and not blindly spray in the dark. Here are some progress pics. If you fine folks have any tips, feel free to chime in!

How high do you have your led hanging. Looks like you could lower it some
It is probably 16ish inches. I had it lower but I was worried about the leaves getting cooked. It was at 12 inches a d when I shifted to flower I moved it up anticipating stretch. I will measure it when the light comes back on. Thanks for dropping in!

Two questions tonight. 1.) Is this too much LST for a week into flower? It really bushed up this week and I want to take advantage of the shaded growth.

2.) My light was at 16" from the plant. The LST I did leveled the canopy. I adjusted the light to 15". During veg, I had it as close as 12". I really can't find an issue with it closer unless the plant suffers burn. Or am I wrong? Is there a sweet spot with LED lights? I have the fan in my tent blow directly at the light to help move that hot air away. I doubt it would prevent light burn, but I like to think it helps.

Looks like I did no harm. I really bent the plant the other day and it seems to have had a positive effect. The flower sites are coming along. I am getting really excited. My temp swings are larger than I want, but there isn't much I can do. I hope these bagseed genetics hold up.

The bagseed looks great today. Flower development is unreal. Been using kelp meal tea and water. Approximately 6 more weeks.

I have a deficiency. Not exactly sure, but the last two days half the plant got real ugly. Today I got calmag+. I hope it fixes my issue. Or at the least, improves the plant. Also, my little seedling that took forever to germinate, and is almost at a month of growth, is ready to go into a pot. I am repotting it tonight. If you know why my plant looks sick, don't keep it a secret. I need help. The bud sites don't seem affected. Only the fan leaves from veg growth. I did a heavy flush of water this morning, then this afternoon I added a few cups of soil mixed with some kelp meal as a top dress. I dosed her with calmag+ after I got home. Temps have been hard to regulate lately. I also raised the light to 17". Any ideas from the forum will be appreciated. Here are some shots for reference.

I made a tough choice. I cut back all the foliage that wasn't healthy. Some of it reminded me of tomato blight. The calmag didn't help as much as I hoped it would. I will get pics tomorrow.

Out of the tent for inspection. Pretty level canopy.

I feel like this looks good for where I am at int the flower.

I also top dressed with ewc. I got a small sample packet. I mixed a little in on top and worked it in by hand. I hope to stay on track.

You can see the closest plant has a issue on the lower leaves.. that pics for the 28th of last month. Same issue as she gets older.

All organic or what soil? Nutes? I did things basic. I want it simple.

Fox farm soil. Last water was 6 days ago with full strength nutes. Think I should just flush and try half strength next time they dry out.

I used coast of maine soil. I am new to indoors. But, I have grown veggies and never used bottled nutes. I just worked with the soils I had. Maybe you just flush and maybe try some calmag next water. I used the stuff and my plants looked better asap.
