Fertilizer- Dr. Earth Home Grown, Premium Gold, and Flower Girl.
Grow space- 8x8 tent
Lighting- BludgetLED Series 3 Red Spec 250w, BudgetLED Series 3 Red Spec 500w, BudgetLED Series 3 500w

Five seeds from each pack were placed in a shot glass of water to sit over night. One Headband Cookie seed had a tap root showing in 7 hours, so I’m super hopeful for a good germination.

For now though, I got all ten of the seeds into their respective seed starter cells.
All five of the Headband Cookies had tap roots poked out when I planted them. Two of the Thug Rozes had theirs out also.

Just out of curiosity, do you drop them in tap root up or down? I am such a co trol freak with my plants I usually just barely berry them tap root down but I usually have to remove the helmets whitish is why I think people who do root up or angled do it that way. Happy Sunday!

Tap root down. It’s what I was told when I first started growing so I’ve stuck to it. Sometimes I’ll have to moisten the seed shells with a qtip but they usually come right off.

Not a big update by any means, but I gave the seedling a little shot of the Recharge this morning while giving it to a couple other plants I have going…

I think they liked it.

These are some clones from a buddy who got them from a buddy, that kind of thing. I have no idea what the CSS is supposed to be, Bud said Candy Store maybe? (That doesn’t explain the extra “s”.)
They were rough when I got them in. Hence the Lorax tree appearance of the Berry Kush.

Looks like we got 8/10 seeds going. The other ones cracked but just gave up.
I adjusted the light to be about 300ppfd over the seedlings using an App, not the most accurate thing ever, but it gets me in the ballpark.

The babies are doing well, the runt of the Thug Roze litter has finally turned upright(sorta), and is starting to green up a bit.

Grabbed two of my five gallon pots from my last grow and stole their (root)balls.

Sprayed them down with one hand and tore them apart with the other. Trying to keep the dust to a minimum.

I did this twice for a total of 20gals of used soil.
Then out on some plastic to have two gallons of pumice, one gallon of worm castings, one gallon of compost, 14tbls of Dr.Earth Home Grown, 6tbls of the Premium Gold, and 2tbls of Flower Girl(I ran into a slight Phosphorus deficiency my last round with this soil, so I figured a little bit of Flower Girl wouldn’t hurt.)

Got her all mixed up and wetted down with an aloe “tea”? (Blended aloe leaf juice strained and mixed into a 1gal sprayer)

All done for tonight. Hopefully we’ll be transplanting here in the next few days. Can’t wait for the beebs to spread their legs and run.

Ps- I also checked the PH of the soil out of curiosity.

Got all the babies moved into their new 2gal homes. I’ll be adding some straw as a mulch layer when I can get to the store to grab some. One of the Thug Roze seedlings are not super happy, but it was runty from germination. So I moved it over as well.

Nothing really to report. The Beebs are chugging along doing their things.

But, I have some potential victims to an upcoming pollen chuck attempt… As long as they root.

Culled the baby Thug Roze, I needed the space unfortunately. I had two other Headband Cookies going, so I used her container for one, and put the other one into a 1 gallon container.

Also I have a single Bruce Banner Auto going I got a while ago that has just been sitting there, not to worried about yield off her, it’s just for fun really.

Each of the 2gal pots got a minute and a half worth of Recharge enhanced water evenly spread out with the garden sprayer. That’s roughy a solo cup full of water for those wondering.

Tucked the little ones down again and read them a bed time story. They bounced back from the initial tucking this morning like it was nothing.
