Last Minute Summer Grow - Wish Me Luck - Sativas

Long Story short...
After a hardworking summer I finally managed to get some beans going before the natural sunlight hides again. These ladies are around a month old. They are all Sativa dominants I have 1 Brainstorm Fem,1 Chemdawg Fem, and My personal seed Jamaican Sativa 2 in regular and 3 in First 1 generation "feminized". I got then in a nice rich soil, maybe too thick for the, so I water them maybe once or twice every week, so they don't over water. Temperatures are really fresh. Day length as of today is 13:kisstwo:57 hrs, and if they still have they're Sativa dominance they should start flowering at around Day length 11:30-12:00 hrs very likely to be by the end of the month. Im crossing my fingers actually.

Watered today using Bone meal only. Used some DE before watering. Plants are getting ready for flower season I can see the change. I'm in between defol or not defol, they are small and I don't want then to waste all the energy producing more leaf matter.

Love the healthy look of your girls. All organic? :volcano-smiley:

Thanks man, they are looking nice and green despite sharing the same container. Organic? yes I try to keep it as Organic as I can, the soil has a lot of material for the plants to work with, Ive had the same "mother soil" since I started growing I have since then worked on this soil every year adding materials like eggshell, peanut shell, oyster shell, banana peels, mulch, dead leafs and residues from past grows, dry pigeon excrement, some horse manure... I watch them slowly degrade after each grow.

But I feel the soil is very thick this time so Im extra careful to not over water, the soil retains a good amount of liquid.

Today very low rain almost like a mist, the plants are radiant. They took well the bone meal. The garden looks like a micro climate my own little rain forest. :passitleft:

Here are the different phenos for what I call Jamaican Sativa.

These two are the Regular seeds, and they show a very different phenotype, the shape of the leaf and the internode separation are very distinctive on each one.

IMG_134624.jpg

For the 3 here, they are the first generation "feminized" of a cross with the Jamaican Sativa gens. The have a resemblance the two in the corners, the small one is weak but seems to be on the same linage.

As of today despite only 2 plants, they have all showed sex and so far all females. But the temperatures are dropping drastically and Im not sure they are even gonna get time to start growing buds before they come inside.

Day length 12:05:01 hrs.
Latitude 45.5° N

Not the best place to grow sativas on a balcony.

Just took the pictures using flash.
