keep in mind too the nature of the magnesium deficiency. To supply what was needed in the new growth, those spots on your leaves have been cannibalized for their stored up magnesium, and those spots are never going to go away. The rest of the leaf around that damage can get green again though, but mainly what you are watching for is for the progression of these spots developing to stop. It will take 2 or 3 days to see the green coming back where it can, but be patient with this. If it is not getting worse, it is getting better.
