hello...i have 150w hps for a couple of years,and now im planing to put in my box aditional 150w mixed cool white6000-6200k,and warm white 3000-3200k 10w leds as a side lighting...what do you think about this is it a good idea... i alrady have 60w cool white led light for veg room and it works great... this chips are chines and its realy cheap...

I think HPS and LED make a great team. I've been running LED's alone for a few grows now but I just introduced HPS back into the mix. I think the combination is going to be a winner

I picked up some led spots and they are made up of 1 watt leds, they pack a nice little punch.
It's going to depend on the output and draw of the LEDs, and how many diodes are on the light you're talking about using.

a $40 UFO led would probably be better if it is only a supplementary light, and you're wanting to do it cheap.
