LED veg with supplemental T5 ...This is a grow I started to supply my needs, having access in my family to great seeds was a bonus. The genetics are Alien Kush x Super Skunk, G13 x Hawaiian butterscotch.
I germinated with seed starter blocks,no paper towels or soaking 5/6 germinated I allowed 10 days of pre veg under a 2' Sun blaze T5 HO.
They were then switched to 1/2 gallon pots in pure coco LED light and a 4'Sunblaze T5 HO. ANYONE USING Botanicare KIND nutes take note!!! Unlike the claims on the bottle that you only need KIND base and grow during veg,FALSE, I got hammered week two with a calcium deficiency, I added liquid karma and cal mag at this point 5ml per gallon and plants took off. I topped in week two and started LST. Week three transplanted into gallon pots and did 50/50 Coco loco with pure block coco. Week 4 early sexing and getting rid of one sickly plant and one male(tall gangly one was male) week 5 switched light time to 12/12 and induced flowering plants are a deep glossy green, hard part farming with LED is you need to pull plants under a normal light as it skews colors.
This LED is full spectrum good for veg and flowering. It has 3w American made chips and runs cooler than my 4'Sunblaze T5
