LED Side By Side Perpetual Grow, DWC

So here we go. This has been a long time coming but things are finally setup and running. Other than few minor setbacks we are off to a good start. I am considering this to be the official beginning of a 2 tent "rotating ongoing grow for the next year. Over this time period I hope to run through approx 22 total plants. It will consist of 8 "pairs", 3 X Auto Flowers, and 3 Single photos. The "Veg" tent is a 2X4X5 and it is powered by single Led. This tent will be used to run the 3 Auto Flowers, as well as starting all of the seeds in the grow plug(1week) followed by a 4 week veg cycle of 18/6. I currently have a single AK-47 inside of this tent as of today. The Led is a 90W veg and 180W bloom, it will be in the veg mode for the next 7 weeks, which is nice to save on power and heat. Once I am forced to move the 1st auto flower into the tent I will flip the light to full power and keep it there for the remainder of the grow. My Flower tent is what I am excited about most. I have a new 5x5x6.5 and it will be responsible for running 12/12. There are a total of 3 separate Led's that will be powering the tent, and once all 3 lights are on and running in bloom mode the total power draw will be at 835ish W. I have a MarsHydro 144x5 reflector series(311w) on the left, and I have a (345w) LED on the right. In the middle between these 2 lights I have the exact same light that is in my veg tent. (180w) The concept of the Flower tent is a 10 week flowering cycle, as one pair enters week 6, the othe will begin week 1, 2 plants every 5 weeks, and a bonus plant under the center led. I currently have 2xBlue Dream by humboldt seeds under my large LED. They started week2/3 of veg today. I have a single Fruit Punch Auto by heavyweight seeds under the center led. It also started its 3rd week today. I am starting the lights at 26' for veg, 18'flower and possibly 12-14 for final few weeks of flower. All plants are being grown in 5 gallon Individual buckets. I have been growing DWC for a few full cycles and now I am excited to see what it can really do. Just so this is clear I absolutely will be comparing the 2 larger LED's and showing everything that comes up from great to terrible. All plants will get the same treatment as much as possible, this is a personal grow, so of course I want everything to work great. I know exactly what it is like to stare at 2 companies and not know what light I should get. I will not be telling anyone what they should get, just showing 2 different lights under similar conditions. During this grow I have no problem discussing the 144X5. MH has a solid reputation on this site and I am really excited to see what their light can do. The light it is "competing" against has a price tag 2.6x that of the MH 144x5 and pulls only 30ish more actual watts.....that is the most I am willing to say about the light. If you want to PM a question feel free, but please don't make that the "issue" of discussion during the thread if able....I would actually like to see this journal make it through the year. I plan on updating weekly, there will always be new pics showing the progress in both tents. Any and all discussion, questions, banter, etc is all welcomed and appreciated. Here is the Ak-47 after 1 week with "seedling" strength nutes. She was topped today and will veg for 4 more weeks. I think she will end up being a monster.

Inside of the flower tent, the biggest change of the week is the "bloom" switch on the 2 leds is now on for the final week of veg.
The FPA and the bigger BD had root issues this week, but after adding an extra 10ml of hydrogaurd things seem to be going the right way. The smaller BD seems down currently, but I will see how she responds to the new water/food before worrying too much.

So we see the veg tent doing exactly what a veg tent should be doing...starting more plants. The C99 and KM will spend the next 5 weeks in here before going to the flower tent. The AK-47 started week 2 nutes today, she looks good after being topped last week. Temps are under control so far, and the roots look good. More to come tomorrow from the flower tent. After a week of downs/ups the flower tent seems to have figured things out. I got a little impatient and the lights have been 12/12 since Saturday. All 3 got fed yesterday and the plan is 10 weeks of bloom.

My top secret nute lineup. I'm sure there are better, but so far this has shown great results. Hopefully it continues to.

Here is the Fruit Punch Auto, she is just over 30 days from seed. I slotted 14 weeks for the auto, but will adjust as necessary. The big difference is feeding...she is getting 75% of my normal feeding schedule, it seems to be her target zone. I will be installing her cage later today.

Here is the 4 week veg Blue Dream, she has definitely been the top performer up to this point.

This is the 3 week veg Blue Dream, and compared to her pic from last week you can see the progress. I am still excited to see the difference after 10 weeks in flower between 3/4 week veg.

Just a couple shots after feeding/leaf tucking. I will do a defolil after 3 weeks in flower. Otherwise just sitting back and letting things start to stretch. Take it easy, thanks for checking things out and happy growing out there.

1-the FPA
2-the "big"blue dream
3- little BD ...my "training" in progress...just using the cage to open them up.
Temps are a little warmer than I'd like...if it stays that way I'll vent ac directly to the intake port....otherwise no complaints.

and here is the veg tent. The "bloom " switch will be turned on this Tuesday for the AK47's final week of veg. I found the Cinderella-99 laying on her side this morning.

I made a few adjustments on the configuration of the tent. I really want to see how big the BD can get, and I want to see the 144x5 in action. So as of now all 835W are on in the flower tent.
The veg tent is a quiet professional. Doesn't get the hype but, started all of these. So again at 2 weeks into flower I'm pretty stoked....but may have to make some timing changes to keep the rotation going. Take it easy.

So we are starting the 3rd week of flowering....
I was thinking I could easily get 5 plants in my 5x5....now I think 4 might be tough...

This is the FPA at 45 days from seed. She is the smallest but will fit nicely in the veg tent in a few weeks.

Here is the small BD ...you can see the "tie down " put on today...trying my best to keep her tops level. She seems to love the 144x5 ...

So today brings the beginning of the 3rd week of veg for the KM and C-99. They were both topped yesterday and now are directly under the light. I think they will really enjoy the space and extra light.
