Lemon Skunk Grow - First Organic Experience

It's cold outside. Now, 9 pm, around 40ºF
The houses are not prepared for the cold weather, it is unusual.
So, my flowering chamber is around 60ºF.

Skunk Lemon Clones Day 41 (1) - Day 29 (2 to 5)
Amnesia Haze Day 29

New Baby - I got a bagseed. Thoughts from the end of dealers in my life, bad stuff, cops in the favela.
I realized that i've been smoking that crap for 10 years and finally having a good feeling of not having to go back there, it's fair enough grow a plant and see where it came from. After ten days, the seed sprouted. Good vibes and positive thoughts: hope she survives.

Her name will be Cinga, a memory to the projects (favela) where i got my weed in the last ten years.

Oh man... How hard is to sit and wait for. Lemon Skunk is on the ground since 02/20/16, 4 months and a week.
Flowering for 3 weeks and a half now, this week she drunk a good amount of Banana Tea as a source of K, the budsites are noticeable full of pistils. The stretch was contained and the plant does not grow too much in the early flowering stage (1 ft.), considering three weeks. She is fine. I look forward.

This surface isn't lined, there are 7 main-side budsites, between there are around 20 others a couple of inches below.

The breeders says flowering time is around 8 weeks.

Dude I hope the arm heals in a timely manner, I have a bad shoulder so I feel you on working one handed, granted mine is only every so often. Ladies look happy tho so your doing something right. :passitleft:

Oh thank you Mr, you are a gentleman.
More 15 days off, but life is good without pain, i'm very healthy but a immobilized arm.

I've been thinking about the reasons of these popcorn buds. Made my bet in N. The lack of N made my plant doesn't grow as expected in the early flowering days, just a foot, and the buds grows just a little. I stole a couple of buds in the end of fourth week too. May the air is not circulating as it should. What about it Mr? Would apreciate some words.

When you say popcorn buds, are you talking about the entire plant or the actual sub canopy smaller buds. You've got several weeks left for them to thicken up. The amount of space between nodes didn't allow for the buds to stack up. Picture the same amount of buds on half the stem, it would be dense as @#&%,right? Not sure if lemon skunk has any sativa traits, that could also be a cause.

It's still going to be a good amount of buds once they fatten up. Keep up the good work, it's how it smokes in the end not how it looked in the garden. :goodjob:

KiG :green_heart:cheers

Hello Snid!!!
I'm studying a new soil recipe, how to improve my mixes cuz this first one was a litlle weak. A living organic soil to offer to my plants all the nutrients she needs, in the right time she wants.

Although the buds did not grow as expected, I am very satisfied with the outcome of this first run, no pests and just adding water. The buds fattened in these last days and 60 days will harvest this plant . Monday will take the immobilization of the right arm and write the summary of this run and go into a perpetual with an organic worked better .

It was really a great huge awesome experience.

Buds will gain most of there weight in the last couple of weeks. I've had buds look light and fluffy at week 7 and been proper dense when finished at 10. Give her time and watch her swell. :passitleft:

Hello Mr.
Yeah, they grew a little, but i think its time, 60 days flowering. More 10 days would be nice, but i'm dry and thirst for real weed!!! i think you understand...
My first one, i'm feeling great!!!
Now i have to aim a perpetual where i can harvest every two weeks, using a real organic soil. I had a good start here.
As soon as possible I'll see your monster.

The plants look awesome. Much better than my first run. As to an early harvest, noone says you have to take the whole plant. Take a branch or 2, and let the rest bulk up. It will be worth it :)

Yeah, exactly what i did. Took a couple of loose branches from the top, left bottom ones for more days and she doesnt shows signs of stress for while. There are white pistils yet, may two more weeks to go. And some green buds to begin my treatment.
Thanks for the helpful tip.

Since August 1st i've been smoking my own weed.
I finished harvesting day 15, but started in July 30 then pinched some buds August 07.
Have no weight data. Two bottles are filled and curing since August 20 after 6 days drying hanged in a cardboard box.
Two Skunks are flowering day 55, one day 25. Amnesia Haze flowering day 35. A couple more of Skunks are 'very ready' to flower, vegetating for 90 days.
In my first run my priority is to be self-sufficient spending the lowest amount of money possible. Setup upgrades are in sight for next year only, but i don't know if i'll resist to try some HPS system to flower my plants. Seems to be better than LED. LED is helping me, they are ok, but HPS is Light for Real. Here is south, really south, but no so south like Patagonia, still very warm but worth a cost for the shine, these purple things are so lovely but has no punch. 400W HPS won't spend much more energy than a 300W LED, so i got a doubt and a will.
