what's brexit Lewy ? . Typical, we get sod all in the midlands !. They were going to give us a Mick donalds drive through or something but the cows get stuck and the windows were too low to bend for the food without falling off so that went the same way as the new leisure centre here. ( I say leisure centre but it was just two sheep tied to a lamppost!!!)

Plants are storming it lewy , autos new for me too but their growth rate is scarily quick for us photo guys to get our heads around ( "it's devils work I tell ya ! "). those stems though !, fuck me fella, your never getting them down without an axe.lol

All good here mate. I do get a better germ rate from straight into cubes from packet so far. if I try other ways tend to get a few non starters or weakling seedlings. I did have to nurse them out of the cubes though this time. I think the spongy nature of the can grip the seed helmet too well. Fine if your hands on and a fussy checker as I am .lol
Do like a variety grow in fairness. can be a pain in the arse managing canopies as you know yourself mate but is worth the hassle.
it looks like the LOS ladies are starting to pick up pace now amd with access to food constantly , I am hoping they can keep up with the coco at least. glad to have you on board mate. keep it green

Hey 420. Quick update tonight as I’ll probably update again tomorrow. On Sunday night I gave every plant a fresh res. These pictures are from this morning, would of posted earlier but I’ve been flat out at work and didn’t have the time. Customs have released my lights so hopefully I should have them by the weekend.

Good afternoon 420 and what a lovely afternoon it is. I’ve just finished work until Monday!

It’s been a busy day and didn’t have time to update when I took the pictures this morning but managed to get all my work finished giving me Friday off, so my weekend starts now and there will be plenty of updates as my lights are being delivered tomorrow. I could piss myself I’m so excited! Here are the auto updates.

Chem # 1
Wow this plant is starting to smell fantastic. It’s so frosty, fair play to Mephisto seeing as this is a strain for concentrate lovers. It’s definitely living up to expectations so far and looks like it could be a great rosin produce. It’s a very heavy feeder so I’m going to give it another res change with full bud boosters at the weekend.

Northern Lights x Big Bud
All of a sudden this one is pushing on. Very pungent smell when I trim the leaves considering it’s a young plant.

Chem # 2
Not going to be the biggest yielding plant but considering how awful she’s looked on numerous occasions she doing alright now. Fat frosty buds are forming and she smells great. Might be slightly in front of Chem # 1 so I think she’ll be getting squished first!

Chem # 3
Could end up the biggest of the autos and that’s fine by me looking at the other Chems. Knowing how heavy feeding the strain is now I’m hoping I can get the best out of this one.

Here are the individual updates for the photo plants. I can’t wait to let these go now and I’m going to be setting a big target yield from the new lights which are half the power of my current set up. So less plants and power should be interesting.

Hey everyone I’m going to make some hard candy for my mum tomorrow as she had her first chemotherapy session yesterday and isn’t in a good place. I’m going to use rosin but I’m unsure on the ratio of rosin/candy. If anyone has any info, even if it’s a different but affective way of helping deal with the chemo I want to know and will be massively appreciated.

Hi 420. Hope everyone is enjoying the start to the weekend. I’ve got loads of updates tonight, I’ve had a very busy day and I’ve just sat down to a nice dab and a beer finally. First off a little update on my Mum, thankfully she’s feeling a little better today. I’ve not made the candy yet but I have squeezed the rosin, bought the moulds and candy to infuse and the rosin is cooling in the oven after decarbIng ready for the next stage. After Shed’s advice on the strain choice I decided to go with Pink Kush and Sorbet Dream for the first run. I’ve heard the PK has great medicinal properties and I know from experience the SD is a well rounded hybrid.

I squeezed at 190c for 2:30 minutes through a 120 micron bag.

I then measured out 1 gram ready for decarbIng. I did this by placing in the oven at 215 for 20 minutes then shut the oven off to cool.

I should be ready to start making the candy in the morning. The effort of so many 420 members to help out with this has been incredible. Lovely lovely people

Next update is all about the grow room. Today I finally got my hands on some new lights from Timber. I’ve wanted to replace my 600 watt hps with something more efficient since I got back into growing so when my veg light broke recently I thought what better time to upgrade. After speaking to Dan @TimberGrowLights i decided to go with their quintet of daisies. I’ve been running around 900 watts in my flower tent so dropping to 475 watts is going to be a lot easier on the electricity bills that’s a sure thing.

As soon as I opened the first box and saw those heat sinks you can’t help but think Wow! I mean they are so cool looking I’m thinking of getting another set for above the dining room table! After going to the shops and getting a plug adapter I set about taking the old lights downs and installing the new set up.

It was really easy to set up and within a short space of time I was ready to switch them on.

The 3500k lights make the grow room feel totally different, it’s like it’s gone HD. I love the way you can position each light. If you grow multiple strains like I’ve been recently it can be impossible to get the best from each plant if there are height differences between strains. These give so much more flexibility.

Later today I’ll be splitting the garden into two. The autos will finish in the veg tent while the four photos will stay in the flower tent ready for the flip. Here are the latest updates starting with the autos

Looking frostier everyday and smells gorgeous.

This one is just starting to flower so I’ll change her to bloom nutes in the next day or two. I’ve picked a leaf here and there then used some wire to open her

Showing signs it’s not happy and when I checked the ph in the bucket it was very low at 5.1. I’ve now topped up with fresh water and reset to 5.7. Until she starts looking better I’ve avoided giving her a trim.

This is one gnarly looking plant now! I’ve given her a trim and I actually topped 2 or 3 branches.

Last but not least is French Macron #2. For some reason I’ve no shots if her before having a hair cut. She’s doing well though and the potential to become the biggest plant in the tent.
