Thanks guys, plant for plant this has been my best run yet. Not only that I think it’s my highest yield so far. When I was running the hps I could only get around the 0.8 grams a watt so to jump to 1.8 grams a watt on a first run speaks volumes about the lights. I’ve given some of the bud a first squeeze tonight and the flavour is insane. FM #2 tastes just like black currant Ribena!

Had a squeeze of the 3 last plants to be harvest last night. Here are some individual reports.

French Macaron # 2
This bud really is a treat and up there with the best I’ve smoked in my opinion. It’s potent stuff and a great buzz but it’s all about the flavour with this stuff. It’s a gassy, fruity pheno with the cookies background and very sweet. I was pretty speechless after the first dab as my mouth tasted exactly if I’d been drinking Ribena or eating berry flavoured sweets.

French Macaron # 1
This pheno isn’t fruity like the other FM and has more of a cookies, bakery and dessert flavour going on. Again it’s gorgeous and I couldn’t choose a favourite. The rosin from this bud was the hardest to collect as it buttered almost immediately.

G13 x Blueberry Headband
Wow I totally get why G13 is so popular now. The testers of bud I’ve been having over the last few days have been giving a very strong buzz showing the potency of this strain. I love it. I’ve always like the weed that smacks you silly and this stuff is wonderful. The rosin is dark and full of flavour, I’m getting a banana paint flavour that turns to piney menthol with a rosemary after taste. After one dab it even reminded me of olives! Probably the rosemary herb taste. Sounds weird I know but it’s really good.

In the garden I think I’m in with a good chance of 100% with the clones. I’ve had the lid half off the seed dome for the past two days and they don’t show any signs of wilting. I’ve also stopped spraying them now and just spraying the rooter cubes.

The rest of the gang are doing ok. I’m still not dialled in with the nutes yet as I think I had them set too low and after last night I think I’ve probably set them too high now.

I’ve been giving them some training but last night I had an accident when sorting their buckets out. Tip of the day...don’t use ph up as a foliar spray!

I had a syringe rubber give up the ghost and ph up splashed all over the plant. I brushed the drips off and didn’t think it would be this bad but hey it will grow back.

I couldn’t quite believe the yield when I weighed the bud from this run. I’m really loving these new lights. I’m thinking if the tent was full to the sides with a high yielding strain like the G13 plant you could possibly hit 50+ oz . Sounds crazy I know but with the right training I genuinely believe it’s possible.

Hey 420. Thought I’d better do an update as it’s been a nearly a week. Thing is not much has changed in the garden. I’ve been getting the plants dialled in with new lights as this is the first time I’ve use them in veg. I’d say I’m approximately using 40% or less power going by the dimmer switch, anymore and the plants go limp hours before lights off. Each plant has been topped and trained a few times now and most are at 8 tops. I’ve lost a few limbs here and there but with no sign of roots on the clones yet I’m in no hurry. I’m still hopeful with the clones as I cut them 15 days ago, been without a dome for a week and still look decent to me.

All in all it’s been boring in the garden but fingers crossed it starts to pick up next week.

Hi everyone, hope you’re all enjoying your weekends. I’ve been pretty busy myself. The trim has been building up in the freezer since I started harvesting plants from this journal and it was time for a hash run.
After washing my bubble bags in some isopropyl and setting my portable washing machine up I was ready to start. If anybody is interested in this process I wrote a small guide with pictures in my first journal starting at post 73.
First up I used the trim from both of the French Macaron plants. I’ve been really looking forward to trying this hash but didn’t quite get the result I was expecting. I know I let the trim defrost a little just before I started and I probably gave the trim too long in the washing machine (12 mins). By making these mistakes I feel yield was down and slightly more plant material in the end produce but still some banging hash. Check out the colour of the water. It looked like wine after a spin in the machine!

Ended up with 6 grams of high quality melty goodness. Smells unbelievable.

Next up I decided to make some hybrid hash. Into this batch I threw the trim from,

G13 x Blueberry Headband
3x Creme De La Chem
Northern Lights x Big Bud Ryder
Pineapple Express

With there being so much trim this run I decided on two wash cycles. The first just 8 minutes to take the cream then a second wash of 12 minutes to try and catch the rest.

First wash
Much higher quality this time. 7.5 grams of full melt heaven!

Second wash
For this wash I removed some bags.
I kept the 160 micron to filter the shit out.
The 73 micron to collect the higher grade and finally the 25 to collect everything else. Even being a second wash I was very happy as it’s still of a very high standard. Another 6 grams.

Not a bad run in the end, 19.5 grams of bubble. Doesn’t seem a lot but this stuff is potent and tastes out of this world.
