Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Lol last night I nearly wrote an update that started “I’m loving the Exotic males right now”!
LOLOL! That would have been perfect! Congrats on the pollen and yes everything is well with me, thanks for asking! Enjoy the pheno hunting!

Dudes... never thought I'd say I want to try some dudes...lol, seriously though it's on my list of grows to try, auto's next, then making regular seeds then making fems, I just want to retire and grow crops!
Who’d of thought hey! Lol. If this goes well I’ll definitely be keeping male plants around more often. Go for it Canuck I wish I’d tried this years ago.
Well I still have 2 reg seeds left. Caramello from Delicious Seeds. No idea what they're like but there is a chance for a male there.
If I remember rightly you have 2 as well. Where they included in the Christmas deal? I can't remember lol.
Damn you Lew. you have me itching to pop more beans!
That’s so fucking freaky that you’ve mentioned Caramello mate! Really weird, I searched for that yesterday as the strain holds good memories for me. I was thinking it was an old strain maybe worth breeding with! A few hours later and you post this! I’ve not got any of those seeds, wish I did. Get them soaking P you know you want too! Lol. Had some great Caramello hash in the Dam years ago.

I went back and had a look at the posts around Christmas and we did get the same promo but you went with the fem UFO freebies and I went with regs.
SOLD! I'll get them in some medium later today lol. Damn you Lew lol

Also I noticed that Exotic Genetix new line of strains are available to us in UK now. Its the Grease Monkey and the Strawberries and Cream crosses which have been available for a little while state side. They have one called Orangutan Titties lol

I did it! Fingers crossed for some testicles....

Good morning 420. I’ve given the Cheap Trick and Chocolatina males the chop last night. The pollen sacs had started to split open and this should be a good time to harvest. I now have their pollen sacs in brown paper bags so they can dry for a few days. I’m thinking another week for the Guicy Banger and Crumbled Lime males.

In the main tent the girls are storming along. Wednesday marks 21 days since the flip so I’ll be giving them a strip down and switch the dehumidifier on for the next stage of flower.

After checking the girls over in the main tent today I decided to give them a strip down. I had some nice mains that were suffering through lack of light so thought it best to get them out in the open. I love to check back at this stage and see how the plants have performed since the flip.

Nice growth from these over the last 21 days. A day to recover and they will start to take shape after the defol.
In the 3rd tent I’ve given the clones a fresh res. I’ll give them a tidy up when I’ve got more time.

Looks amazing ! Those pollen sacks blow my mind .

Thanks Northern. I hope I get some good crosses from them, they were a good looking bunch. It’s been fun trying something different. Hope you’re well and keeping safe.

Lookin very nice Lew! Good clean up on the flower girls, that's a crazy difference between the start of flower to the pictures before the leaf strip it doesn't look like the same tent.

What do you do to cool your buckets when the weather gets warmer? I've been having some issues with warmer res temps.

Thanks N4 they certainly stretched their legs over the last few weeks. Getting to the good bit now.:)

I’ve started to worry about the temps my myself lately mate. Last year I stopped growing throughout the hottest part of the summer as I find it’s just not worth battling the temps and problems it causes. I don’t mind having a few plants vegging but flowering is a nightmare when it gets really hot. I’d love AC but that isn’t possible at the moment without spending big bucks as my grow space can get very hot. For keeping my buckets cool I’m lucky to have a big chest freezer so I can keep loads of frozen 2 litre pop bottles filled with water. I put one in each bucket in the morning swapping out at night. I have reasonable res temps this way but it still hasn’t stopped flowering plants throwing out single bladed leaves and whispy fox tail buds if the tent temps are still high. Also when it’s hot and plants are drinking more you need to keep the buckets topped up so nutes don’t become too concentrated. I’ve never had root rot whilst using beneficial bacteria or H2O2 no matter how warm it’s been. Best tip I can give is plan around the hottest months.

Thanks Lew. I was trying to avoid the hot weather growing and thought my current run would be done before the hot weather showed up. It hasn't been to warm here recently but my buckets have been hitting 74 degrees and Ive been getting some goopy stuff showing up on the roots, I've been able to stay on top of the root nasties by dosing the buckets with my bennies pretty much every day. I'm like you I have a chest freezer in the same room as my tents and I put some ice packs in the buckets to see what would happen and it dropped my res temp to 67 so I grabbed a few more ice packs so I could swap them once a day. I don't have the money to buy an ac unit right now. Thanks again for the advice just wanted to see what you did for a warm res.

Hey GG how are you buddy? I’m just about ready to get some females knocked over here. Never thought I’d be happy about that! Lol. I’m going to check on the girls in a minute and see how they’ve responded to their hair cut.

Try and keep fresh cool air running over your air pumps outside of your tent if you can. It makes a big difference not pumping hot air through the buckets. I’ve used a spare fan when it’s particularly hot.
