Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Hey 420. Not much to report today. I’m going to top some of the plants tomorrow. The first Chem auto is looking healthy so I’d like to get the topping out of the way. They all seem to be pushing out some nice roots and ph is stable at 5.7.

Thank you N. It’s starting to feel like a grow now. There is a fantastic chart floating about explaining ph and what certain fluctuations and readings mean. I’ll try and find it and paste it here. Very useful when first sta

It’s another rainy day so I’m home from work and enjoying pottering around the garden. I’ve given all the girls another 10ml of grow nutes as I gradually move towards full strength. Ph was stable at 5.7 but needed slight adjustment after adding the nutes. I’ll recheck in 12 hours. I’ve taken the plunge and topped my first auto. I’ve made a cut which should give me 5 mains with a little persuasion. I also topped the biggest of the two French Macrons. The Pineapple Express is one cute looking plant, I almost don’t want to take the scissors to her.

Creme de la Chem
This is the first chem to pop so I’ll refer to it as Chem#1 from now on. Some before and after topping shots.

A little skinny and tall but underneath she is pushing out some lovely roots so I’m expecting a growth spurt soon.

Hope everyone is enjoying their week and thanks for stopping by.

Hey 420, It’s day 18 for the first batch of plants and I’ve given them all another 10 ml of calmag. That brings them up to 700 pm (160 for my tap water). Chem #1 seems to have taken her topping pretty well as did the French Macron. I’ve given the fan leaves a bend to expose the tops to the recently lowered lights. Tomorrow I think a few more will be ready for topping. I feel Chem#2 could be on the small size maybe stunted? I’m really not sure with these autos but it’s doesn’t seem to have the vigorous growth #1 has. Worried about filling the tent on this run I’ve popped the last Chem and a freebie auto from World of Seeds. It’s Northern Lights x Big Bud so should be a good one.

Hey 420. I had a bit of a nightmare yesterday. I was in a rush for work and had to quickly check the beans I had soaking and get them into damp towels. Whilst tipping the water from the glass I only went and dropped the last Chem seed down the plug hole!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. I’ve had a fantastic day taking my youngest boy to his first football match. Think he might be a lucky charm as we won!
Back in the garden I haven’t checked the tent for two days so I was dead excited to see how everything was coming along. Most look fine but I did notice some rust spots on some of the older leaves. I decided to give them all another 10 ml of calmag and nutes bringing them up to 900 ppm. Here are some pictures whilst the lights were out.

As soon as the lights come on and I’d sorted their feed I got straight to work with some training. Only the Chem #2 escaped any treatment as it looks a little rough.

French Macron #1
This plant was topped earlier in the week. I’ve now stripped it of leaves and crushed the stems.

French Macron #2

This plant probably could of done with being topped yesterday. Again I stripped the leaves and crushed the stems into the shape I want.

I’ve got a real soft spot for this plant already. It just looks really pretty or it did before I got my hands on it!

After topping this plant I decided to let her keep two large fan leaves for 24hr just until the new leaves open up. She doesn’t look it now but I think this plant has some potential as she has a cracking set of roots.

If I have any success with these autos I think it will be this plant. It’s got great growth and a sturdy frame forming. I don’t want to go crazy and stunt it’s growth with harsh training but I couldn’t help giving her a tidy up. I then bent the big fans out of the way using garden wire giving the new tops plenty of light.

Just finished the day off squeezing some rosin. Sorbet Dream, Blue Mistic and Gorilla Zkittles. I’ve had a dab on each of them and I think I’m ready for bed!

Sounds like you had a good time at the football match. I love doing stuff like that with my kids. My oldest daughter likes going to the car races it's alot of fun.

Plants lookin great lew! Nice start to the training. Do you squeeze the stems to strengthen them?

A nice way to end a good day :)
Good bit of garden work there. Like N I’m interested in this stem crushing business of yours too. You do it to make them the shape you want? This is new to me..

You can’t beat times like that with the kids can you mate. We have a local race track that has all different race weekends and car shows. Its a great day out.

I’m really happy with the plants. I crush and bend the stems so I can shape the manifold and once healed it creates a fat knuckle which acts like a nutrient super highway. You end up with a strong frame to support a big yield.

Hey DD it was a nice way to end the day.... not bad for the start of today either! Got to love a wake and bake on a Sunday morning.
I do use crushing the stems to shape my plants and to increase yield. It’s all about building a strong frame to hold those fat buds.

This morning everything looked a little perkier after their training session and feed. I’ve added Chem #3 into the big tent. I’ve only one auto seed left in the veg tent now. As soon as I can move it in with the others I’ll be shutting the veg tent down until my new light arrives.
