Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

A few pictures of the garden 24 hours after a good strip down. I hit them with some strong nutes yesterday and they have taken it in their stride. No leaf clawing and all stood to attention. In hydro you know almost immediately if you’ve got things wrong. We’ve got some warm weather incoming towards the end of next week and I’m determined not to let it affect these plants so I’m going to be freezing plenty of 2 litre bottles for the fan and buckets.

Morning 420, I’ve had a bit of a problem with my grow system lately, I’ve been having trouble with my air pump and certain buckets receiving little to no air bubbles. After replacing all the air stones with new I then started to replace the tubing thinking this may be the answer....still didn’t fix the problem. I start thinking I might need a new pump so I take a look and found the filter completely clogged with dust. A quick clean and now my buckets are mini jacuzzis again! Phew I love a cheap fix.
The girls are coming along lovely and news on the weather are it’s going to be two days of high temps then back to normal. Another phew! Here are the plants this morning.

You filtered through the problem like a pro! :cheesygrinsmiley:
That’s what I thought MrSauga. The fact that it’s taken me best part of 3 months to sort the problem in my eyes just shows how meticulous I am!

Hey 420 It’s time for an update. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. This morning I managed to sneak an hour in the garden. First up I checked the three seedlings in the veg tent. They seem to be growing just fine with lots of roots that should be hitting the res in the next day or two.

In the flower tent I topped up the buckets with some fresh water, checked the ph and tried to open the canopy up with some garden wire. All was going well until I somehow snapped a top bud off one of the Crumbled Limes! Think it must of happened when I had to lift her out of the tent to get to the Guicy Banger plant in the back corner.

Stung a little as it was already a decent size bud but no worries I’m just thinking of it as some extreme back building! Apart from the one mishap everything else is running smoothly and there are plenty more buds where that came from.

 There sure are!

Congrats Lewy on Journal of the Month! :bravo:

Hear, hear. Well done, buddy. Richly deserved. I’m always sending people over to be awed by your LST.
Good to see you get some recognition for all your good work, Lew.

Beautiful man

Hey @Lewydeville congrats on JOTM. I'm going to read your journal from start to finish later tonight when I get some time. I'm just starting a DWC grow and I'm sure I'll learn a lot in these 40 odd pages. Very nice photography by the way :thumb:
Welcome @McRib and thank you. We could definitely do with some more DWC growers around here. If there is anything I can help with just ask buddy.
:welcome:

Hey 420, time for a midweek update. Things are going really well in the garden. This morning I’ve finished off giving the girls all a fresh res each consisting of,
50 ml Bloom nutes
40 ml CalMag
20 ml PK Booster
20 ml silicon
10 ml Beneficial Bacteria
EC 1.8
Ph 5.7
I find as soon as I start adding the PK Boosters my ph can drop out over 24 hrs so it’s imperative I keep regularly checking and resetting the ph until the reservoir settles. I also make sure my buckets are constantly topped up as I’m hitting them with a strong nute solution at this stage of the grow. We are due some hot weather from Friday onwards so I’m a little worried after the last run. I don’t think it’s going to be as extreme and hopefully not quite as hot and prolonged as earlier in the year. I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed! When I open the tent doors it’s starting to resemble a mini jungle and the plants are in desperate need of another strip down which I should get done in the next day or two. I’m starting to get a hit with the most gorgeous smell when I poke my head in the tent. The Crumbled Lime twins smell darn right naughty! :)
Here are the pics.
