Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Dare I say I’ve actually enjoyed the trimming so far! Lol
I like trimming too. IDK why people grizzle so much about it. It’s kind of the reward!
Hey DD how are you buddy? She was a cracking plant, let’s hope some of her attributes come through in the crosses! ;)
Swings and roundabouts homie. Thank goodness (and good people) for decent cannameds though!
Amen to the crosses, man. Here’s one of yours today

So the first plant of the bunch to get the chop is the Crumbled Lime twin #1. After taking a test bud and giving it a good look over with the loupe I could see the trichomes we’re around 20 percent amber, just right. Probably one of the easiest plants I’ve trimmed and only took about an hour and a half until she was hanging. Being an easy trim I didn’t get much scissor hash but I did find a perfectly dried bud which must have been snapped off the main branch at some stage so I’ll enjoy that later tonight! Looks to be a decent yield with rock hard nugs on every branch. The trim went straight into the freezer and I’ll be making some bubble hash with it very soon. Here are her last pictures.

Congrats on the (easy) harvest. That's a super looking plant.

I should be flowering a few more in the next couple of day so I will let you know when I do.

Enjoy the smoke Lew.

Hey Lewy do you wash your plants before hanging ?
I tried it and can’t believe it’s not standard practice .the 4 buckets ...H202+ water, lemon and BS and water, water, and water ..lots of debris and oils came off ..and the plants definitely frost up and dry more evenly I’ve observed?
.congrats on the harvest !

When it comes to trimming I’ve done my fair share of grizzling! Lol. Since I’ve bought the rosin press I find I don’t worry about the fluffy lowers as it just gets squished anyway and that saves a massive amount of time.

I’m miles behind with everyone’s journals but this is the last weekend I’m working for a while so I’m looking forward to catching up soon. I see you’ve started a new journal, how are you finding your new Mars light? I’m running the same cross as you the Wedding Cake x Cheap Trick (Pretty women) and I think I’ve now got three females after the early signs looking like I had at least one Male. Here’s some pics of my three, I’ve not paid them much attention as they are in desperate need of a hair cut!

Thanks P she was a cracking plant and I’m loving the (easy) harvest. God I don’t think I could handle a trimming session like back in the days of the Fruit Spirit! Lol. I cut the Crumbled Lime twin # 2 down last night. Wait till you see the pictures of that plant, completely collapsed under the weight of its own bud! :p

Hope you and the fam are well.

Hello Northern how are you mate? No I’ve never given a bud wash but most people say it’s a good practice to get into and has many benefits including drying the bud more evenly. If I grew outside or in soil I’d definitely give it a go.

Hey 420, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Last night I gave Crumbled Lime twin # 2 the chop. I didn’t realise how big this plant actually was! For weeks I had been thinking this could be a contender for POTM but I think her success was her own downfall as no sooner did I remove the plant Yo-yos and wrestle her from the tent the plant just collapsed into a pile of branches under the weight of her bud, a complete mess! Not that I’m complaining! Took me over three hours to trim but well worth it as the bud looks fantastic and stinks of strong sour lime. Should make some epic concentrate. Here are the pics,

Got to love a Sunday full of sport! If you’re that convinced by the bud washing I’ll definitely give it a try next harvest.

Last night i managed to finish harvesting the last two plants, Guicy Banger and probably my favourite the Chocolatina.

Guicy Banger
one of the most finicky plants I’ve grown and I don’t think I got the very best of her but that said the bud looks and smells incredible. Small buds but frosty as can be, from an earlier tester I was already impressed so I can’t wait to give some of this a try. Her bucket had run dry so she had wilted making trimming her a bit tricky but lucky she didn’t have a lot to trim!

Chocolatina
Now this is my kinda strain! It’s the type of plant that has you thinking the whole time your trimming...wow I hope the neighbours don’t report me as there isn’t a chance in hell that they can’t smell this! Dank gassy goodness with colourful solid buds. Something I did notice with this plant we’re the very thin branches that some how produce fat colas, not too dissimilar to the Gorilla Zkittles I grew a while back but with less floppyness going on! Very impressed by this one and can’t wait to see what her crosses produce.

luckily the Crumbled Lime # 1 I’d harvested last Thursday was ready for paper bagging which freed up some space in the drying tent! Now it’s time for the really fun stuff, going to make some bubble hash tonight in preparation to squeeze some Live rosin!:p

Congrats on a fine harvest, Exotic Genetics is usually on point.
Thanks Penny, should fill a few jars. I picked most of these on your recommendation of Exotic Genetics and I’m definitely not disappointed.

Hey 420 how the devil are you guys? Hope you’re all keeping well. It’s been a while since I’ve post anything in the journal as life has been pretty hectic over the last few weeks. Work has been crazy busy and my wife and I are looking to buy our first house which is exciting but stressful to say the least. Since my last update I really neglected the vegging plants with so little time to spend in the garden, to make matters worse at one stage I ran out of grow nutes, cal mag and beneficial bacteria and it took weeks of me forgetting to order some before I finally got around to it!
Luckily enough the plants have survived the last six weeks of no love pretty well and are bloody ginormous after such a long veg. Over the last week I’ve been getting the plants back to good health ready to flower and today I’ve flipped them.
Here are the pictures. Quick recap, it’s my own home made strain which is a cross of Wedding Cake and Cheap Trick that I’ve named Pretty Women. Check out the size of the trunks, those are 2.5 inch net cups and there isn’t much room left. Should be fun trying to keep these under control over the next three weeks.

So all up to date on the garden. Had a bit of good news I’ve been granted another few months at my spot so I’m going to be popping 4 more of my crosses for another run after these finish.:D

Thanks for stopping by.

I’ve been squeezing some of the bud from last harvest and it’s some cracking gear. I’m like a kid in a candy store...a really stoned kid in a candy store! Lol

I also made some ice hash with the trim from last harvest a few weeks ago. Not my best return but I’m not such a harsh trimmer these days so I was expecting a drop in yield. It certainly didn’t last long it was delicious!

It looks like neglect is just what they need when other conditions are right. All we need to do is let them get on with it, right? Funny they turned into such beasts without nutes. You may be on to some thing. ;)
Your radical defols always give me such a fright  Not half the surprise your plants must get from a sudden infestation of monkey. Wow. They are going to boost now.
:drool:lovely rosin montage :circle-of-love: unk!
Good to see the hash bag wotsits, cheers. I see a local supplier has some. May have to bump them up the list.

:goodluck: house hunting! So much more complicated than buying a pair set of shoes.
