Just a few pictures today. Plants seem to be recovering after their defol and I’m loving the new pump as it seems to run cooler than the old one.

It’s the start of week five of flower today and I’ve started their weekly res change.
30 ml bloom
15 ml pk booster
20 ml sumo boost
30 ml calmag
20 ml silicon
10ml Guard n aid healthy roots

Ph 5.7

I’ve set up the dehumidifier now as humidity has been high. Hopefully I can get it down between 35-40 %. Bring on the frost!

It was becoming a bit of a jungle in the flower tent again so last night I gave the plants another good defol. I’ve continued with the res changing. They are now getting,
30 ml bloom
30 ml calmag
15 ml p/k booster
20 ml sumo boost
20 ml silicon
10 ml healthy roots

The garden is coming along nicely. Today I got amongst the girls and gave them another defol where necessary. Fat Banana seems to want more nutes than any of the others so I gave her an extra helping of bud booster, 10ml of bloom and 20 ml extra calmag. I’m loving smelling each strain as they progress. The Pink kush smells just like candy, Gorilla Zkittles is earthy and pungent and French Macron though small really packs a punch. My favourite by a long way has to be the Sorbet Dream, an amazing scent and great growth I can’t wait to try this one!

We’ve got some lovely cool weather for this time of the year which is making things easier in the flower tent. With the size of the Sorbet Dream and how close to the hps light the top colas are I think I might be in trouble if it was warmer. The forecast looks like much of the same cool weather so hopefully I can’t see out this grow without to many issues.

Mate the weather is killing me at work but great for a nice cool garden! Lol can’t win. I’ve been so busy lately but I’m going to sit down now and catch up on a few journals. Can’t wait to see your Phantom og. My Gorilla Zkittles is so frosty and smells really good. I’m very impressed with the Pink kush as it’s straight up candy. I’ve just flipped a clone of each in the veg tent so I’m glad I’m going to get a double helping of both. Sorbet Dream is just running the show at the moment....she’s a big girl now!!

Day 31 in the flower tent and 5 of my 6 plants are fine but the Fat Banana is lagging behind. Since her second defol she hasn’t responded in a good way, looking airy and no decent structure forming. I put her in a prime spot in the tent and she’s sat in a fresh stable bucket so there isn’t much else I can do but hope she gets going soon. I made some rosin last night, RQS Blue Mistic and Reserva Privada Tangie. It’s pretty good! I also pressed about 18 grams of old bud I had lying around which I probably would of binned. I’m going to isolate the THCa from it then make some diamonds mixed with a Tangie sauce. I’ll post pics of the process until then here are some of the garden and last nights squeeze session.

Cheers Mate and welcome. They’re doing ok now but a broken veg light didn’t give them the best start. Should be some good squishing material come harvest though

Today I’ve just checked the ph in each bucket as from tomorrow I will start giving them their weekly res change. I try and run the buckets low just to make it a little easier on my back lifting them out of the tent. I’m so excited every time I open the tent and have a sniff of each plant. Gorilla Zkittles is getting pretty complex with its scent and I love it. No wonder it’s such a popular strain. Fat Banana still isn’t playing ball, if she doesn’t sort it out she’ll be getting a transfer for another GZ or Pink kush!

Tonight I got in the flower tent with the ladies and gave them a good defol. They certainly needed it as it took way longer than I anticipated. It’s hot in there and it’s having an effect on some of the plants. The Fat Banana is not handling it very well at all and is sat in probably the coolest area of the tent yet the Sorbet Dream and Critical Hog which are directly under the hps aren’t showing many signs at all. I’ve found in the past grows the kush strains seem to suffer the most when the temp goes up. Apart from that I’m happy because some of these smell really special. Here are some pictures before their defol. I’ll post some after shots tomorrow as it was getting late and I forgot to take some.

Hey Lew, looks like I made it just in time. They are looking great! Glad to see a fellow dwc man with a press. I've gotten good a pressing quality rosin and wanted to try making diamonds but havent really started researching yet. I'll have to follow along.

Thanks DD, yes it is getting to the stage where I can’t wait to get the tent zipper open in the morning for an instant grin! The Sorbet Dream is an impressive strain. Smelling tasty as well. How are you my friend on this fine weekend?

Hey Tyson thank you and welcome my friend. You are just in time for the good stuff.. so long as I can keep the temps in check... weather is getting rather warm! I was going to do a fair bit of pressing last night but got a little engrossed in a TV box set and didn’t get around to it. I’m ready to make a big batch of THCa diamonds in the next week and I’ll be making some bubble hash which I’ll then press to make some live rosin. Should be interesting not to mention all these strains will be getting squished!! It’s going to get gooey!! Glad to have you along mate and your entry for nug of the month looks insanely good!
