Light of Jah - 2010

Updating from a tractor in the middle of a spud field...somehow i have wifi too...

Anyways...the slugkiller was put out last night and the plants looked happy to be in the ground!

These slugs are hella stoners, they want those plants SO BAD. Went to check up and see if the slug deterrent worked and WOW. There were so many slugs trying to get past the rings, it almost looked like they were trying to make a bridge. Thank god slugs are stupid, we spread more stuff around the plants just to be safe though!

check out my grow Jim, 2 males and one female, AWWWWWWWWWWW
I hope things are good for you friend and that you got your slugs under control, friggin gansters they are!!!!!:morenutes:

Hey guys, it's good to finally be back on since tractor work isn't consuming my life as bad as it was. I have a fantastic batch of pictures I'm ready to unleash upon the world once I get them from my partner. All the plants are doing awesome and one of the plants will turn your head and be like "whhhhhhhuuuttt?"

These are pictures from July 6th that I wasn't able to post really until now. The plants are in recovery mode after being bent over by the slugs and going prison style all over them. They were looking low on nitrogen and we didn't fertilize them until a few days ago, they were still looking happy though!

One of these days I'll bring my Nikon out there and get better pictures.

Okay, within the next day or two you will be getting the most epic update this site may of ever seen. We have I think three sets of pictures that we haven't posted that are probably each about a week apart. There is twists, turns, and excitement about to come your way...at least it was that way for us. We have just been way too damn busy, plus since Starcraft II came out the 27th we have been playing that ;) MEGA UPDATE SOON!

Here is all of the pictures I promised you! I know they are of pretty crap quality...especially July 28th since the phone was in a ziplock bag because it was so dusty.

These are taken on July 15th If you notice on this first picture one of the plants it literally broken in half and is hanging on by a thread...more to come on that. We don't know what did it, but it sucks.

These are taken on July 21st This week was mainly based on how we have a 3 leaved marijuana hybrid clone mutant freak plant. If you date back to the first sets of pictures I ever posted it's the plant with the leaves that were curved and deformed.

These are taken on July 28th At this point, it hasn't rained for a month straight and it's windy and dusty so the phone is in a ziplock bag for safety. The plants at this point are growing insanely huge every week we check up on them, there is tons of new growth and the plants look so happy not to be eaten by slug armies.

Broken plant in ER right now This plant was discovered broken on July 15th but we left it to see if it could pull miracles out of thin air and revive itself. We came back on the 21st and found it pretty much on it's death bed...it was wilted and looking like it was going to die. Knowing people cut and make clones, I decided to cut the plant and take it back home to nurse it back to health in the computer case we started them in. We stuck the cutting in a rockwool cube, watered it, then left it overnight. In the morning it completely revived itself and looked as good as new. Now it's been about a week and where the computer case is hidden it's getting to hot and the tips of the leaves are starting to burn. We are going to take it back out to the river when we go out there next time.

Well, thats all for now I guess! We will be going out to the river soon so I'll have an update within the week!

The temps have been perfect, 70-75's with a few days reaching the low 80's. Well...perfect for the plants, I'm dying from the heat since I'm a natural furnace.

So, 2 confirmed female, 1 male that a slug bit in half, and 1 that still hasn't shown any signs of sex yet. One of the females is the nicest plant I have ever seen...the slugs and wildlife haven't touched this plant once during the whole grow and it is poster perfect. We have to run out there tomorrow to sprinkle some more slug killer since they suck ass. Thank god the one they killed was a male.

BIG UPDATE #2

AUGUST 1ST

All of the plants just chillin'
2010-08-01_17_20_44.jpg

This is the plant that got cut, we stuck in the computer case and saved it. (It ended up not taking root and died. Oh well, we gave it a shot) -DEAD-
2010-08-01_17_20_28.jpg

This plant was absolutely beautiful until we found out it was male and a slug bit it in half. -MALE-
2010-08-01_17_20_17.jpg

This is the stout plant that has been attacked and came back multiple times. A real trooper. -FEMALE-
2010-08-01_17_19_55.jpg

This is the crazy 3 leaf plant that has gone to heaven and back like 4 times. -KINDA DEAD FEMALE- (You'll see further down)
2010-08-01_17_19_42.jpg

The picture perfect plant that hasn't been touched once by slugs, coyotes, disease, etc. Awesome. -FEMALE-
2010-08-01_17_19_29.jpg

This is a second biggest plant and we don't know if it's female or male...just no signs yet. -UNKNOWN-
2010-08-01_17_19_15.jpg

AUGUST 7TH

All of the plants...minus 1...see it?
2010-08-07_12_01_47.jpg

Oh look, the stout plant got the top bitten off...again.
2010-08-07_11_58_29.jpg

The male, before we knew it was a male. It was top heavy too.
2010-08-07_11_58_18.jpg

The second biggest plant getting bigger.
2010-08-07_11_57_48.jpg

The perfect plant being perfect and untouched.
2010-08-07_11_57_35.jpg

If you didn't notice, the 3 leaved plant was completely bitten off and is now a nub. This made us really sad so we just left it...we felt too bad to rip it out.

August 12th

It was bright this day so the pictures are a bit washed out. Forgive me.

The stout plant is like a marijuana bonsai tree!
2010-08-12_15_17_55.jpg

Oh no! The male plant got bit in half! Oh well.
2010-08-12_15_17_45.jpg

Second biggest plant still growing, nothing new.
2010-08-12_15_17_30.jpg

The perfect plant, but the picture is so bright you can't see much of it.
2010-08-12_15_17_13.jpg

Only 4 pictures from this week!

August 17th

The plants, I forgot to mention we moved the ones in the containers further up just to see if they would stop getting touched by wildlife.
2010-08-17_16_59_14.jpg

The male plant, the only reason we haven't ripped it out yet is maybe it might be a female still. As of right now it looks like it might be balls instead of those white wisps, but you never know. We are watching it close.
2010-08-17_16_57_31.jpg

This is the nub 3 leaved plant...remember the one we left because we felt bad? ITS GROWING AGAIN.
2010-08-17_16_56_51.jpg

The stout plant untouched, on the course of growing again.
2010-08-17_16_56_29.jpg

Second biggest plant, growing growing growing!
2010-08-17_16_55_38.jpg

The picture perfect plant, pictures just don't do it justice. You have to see it in real life to appreciate it.
2010-08-17_16_53_39.jpg

Side view of the perfect plant.
2010-08-17_16_53_50.jpg

The size of the leaves on the perfect plant, are they big for a plant? I don't know.
2010-08-17_16_54_43.jpg

Another fan leave picture.
2010-08-17_16_54_53.jpg

I'M ALL DONE! YES! I seriously gotta keep up on this instead of waiting.
