would imagine that would get way too hot. You would have to have the lite so far away that your plant would have to stretch and be thin and not very bushy. Just my opinion though.

"A broad spectrum daylight lamp with a Neodymium sleeve. The spectrum is ideal for plant’s photosynthesis and the UVA (ultraviolet A) light contributes to reptiles’ physiological well-being. Another important factor is the heat emitted by this bulb to increase the over all ambient temperature in the terrarium."
hope this helps. You should be able to find a supplier on Google. I am unsure whether this lamp is the best for plant growth, and suspect it is more designed for heat rather than intensity, as it is designed to be used in a vivarium.

thanx, cuse it just sprouted and got it on a window sill but i wanna liight befor it starts to get big. do u think i can find a light at like walmart or somewere. if so what type.

There is a lot more to growing a plant than just the light. However, if you choose to continue, I would check at your local lighting store and inquire about lamps suitable for plant growth.
