Lime basics

I am close to turning over about 7 plant to flowering. 2 of them look as if I have maybe over fertilized them. They have a different green than the others. I'm don't want to flush with water as I may over water. Can lime be used to reduce the burn? And if not what's the correct way to reverse the effects? And what is the correct use of lime in the soil? I.E the amount, stage and adding to water or soil?

Lime could be used to alter the pH of the soil, but as far as I know it will do nothing to counteract a possible nutrient toxicity.

Can you post some pics? That would help a lot.
