Little black spots and yellowish grow tips

Hi, i am a relatively new grower and i am having what seems to be a couple of different problems at the same time.
I am growing a white widow strain in potting soil in a closet.
it is on an 18/6 cycle and about six weeks into veg cycle.
ph: 6.8
fert: 20-20-20
light: 35w x 2 & 55w x 2 cfl
water: under plant reservoir with soil plug, filled whenever reservoir has completely dried out ( finished all the water and then a few hours for soil to aerate)

The problems are as follows: about a week ago i noticed that the grow tips are a very very light shade of green (almost yellow) that is pretty much the same for the whole leaf
in addition i noticed today that there are small black spots on some of the inner leaves - most of the leaves look fine

and the black dots ( sorry - a little blurry)

thank you in advance for any advice you can offer
and happy days to all

i went thru the guide - i wouldnt bother wasting other peoples time if i hadn't.
i am more worried about the black spots in the third picture than the yellow grow tips which are always lighter than the older leaves even though mine are lighter than is normal (i think)
thanks anyways

i cut of all of the roots that were hanging into the water and weren't pure white and sprayed it with water and nutes to tide it over for the meanwhile. most of the roots, especially those in the soil cup were very white should i trim those also or can i tell which roots are rotting by color?
thank you very much for the help
