Looking for info on prior cannabis arrests

By now you should be able to as long as they weren't major bust

im currently on parole.

my last two charges were for cannabis.
a felony in 2012 pleaded guilty to
a felony in 2017 pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor
all in vermont which legalized cannabis, im also a medical patient

is it possible to get these charges dropped now?
no... everything you have done stay same with laws at the time of crime.

Pretty sure vermont is dropping most cases now even old ones to clear your record

yea maybe it does work like that in us not in eu

it would be pretty stupid if for example someone committed murder and next day they would release law saying murders are allowed.

so noone would be punished.

Lmao comparing murder with a weed charge. Yes that's very stupid.

I thought I responded to the post that the person mentioned vermont not the eu.

Lots of Vermonters had small possession fines on their records and no that vermont has gone legal they are dumping those charges on many. I think the big cases though for distribution are still intact

Assuming that the exact crime(s) you were convicted of are now legal in Vermont - and that you were tried/convicted in VT state court, contact the governor's office and ask what steps you need to take in order to have those previous convictions expunged from your record.

They will either deal with you directly, tell you who you need to contact, or tell you that you're SOoL.
