Lost smell after drying

Had to chop a stem due to stem rot. Plant smelled great before hanging. There’s not oalot of calyx action but it’s still very frosty.

The smell is diminishing as it dries. It has a hay smell to it. WHY?!?!?!

Room is about 55%RH AND 67 degrees

I’ve read the smell can get stronger so that’s why I’m worried.. hoping the curing can bring it back
