I've got a harvest coming up too,but it's just a little one- about an hour of trimming -the one advantage of growing small plants!

Heya Carcass, Good luck with your harvest mate! Yeah definately easier for me in 9L buxkets than 20L ones.
My back gets worse the older I get. Lol.

Outstanding, mine haven't had run off either for a couple of weeks yet I haven't changed my feeding regime twice a day!
That's going to be a good harvest LR!

Heya Canuck, run off I usually am a stickler for it, gotta have my 10% run off.
Next run Im using smaller pots, a table and half the tent, that way pots can drain where they are.
Im feeding every 1-2 days, 1-2L each.
They like a drink in the warmer weather.
Hopefully it will be a good harvest, I tried a grow leaving all fan leaves on in flower this time, see what the numbers are like in the end. Theres a lot of leaves in there.

Also back in the start of flower I gave them a couple of weeks for Flower to start, I dont know why.... Lol.
When usually I count flower from the light flipping to 12/12.
So in reality they are 7-14 days over 63 days in flower, so thats 70-77 days.
That will do.

Decided for a change was going to leave all the buds on the plant, just take out fan leaves and medium size stuff not coated in trichs.
Have the whole lot hanging now.
4 hours, no breaks, 9 plants.
Like Edward Scissorhands on Meth I was.

Fast trim as Im not interested in doing bubble hash this run, like my freezer for food. I also havent rough trimmed and whole plant hung in years, so takes me back..

Heres some pics of the plants hanging in tent, ventilation is on and internal oscilating fan moving air around in there...

Just a few shots of the plants drying, will start cutting down to bud size soon.
Thats eight days of drying now, temps been between 10-27C in the tent and humidity about 20-30% maybe a tad higher. Fan on in tent but just to circulate air. Extraction fan on 24/7.
Just checked them, will be cutting off branches today.

Enjoy and back with some weights.

Harvest update.....
First things first..
Not bad for no cure yet....

Ok after 8 days drying the above ground plants whole, and a trim of all non trichomed leaf, the White Widow is cut to small buds and almost ready to jar.

Its leafier than I usually trim but the trichs on the leaves I left were insane.

Tester joint, dried, no cure.

White widow dried but others need a day or so of this nice 20's weather before I cut it off the...

The 2 Pineapple Chunk will probably come down next, then the 2 Gelat OG and 2 Peyote Critical. Nice looking buds on all.
I got 280g or 10oz off the 3 White Widows. The 6 left are a lil bigger, so with a lil luck I should just go 900g or 32oz.. And.....
If Im correct, thats what I got last grow...
in 10L pots for less work, less coco, less nutes, smaller plants. Lesson learnt.

Decided that burping heaps of jars is shite work, so using my food storage bags I made from my rolls of it, just peg and triple fold them to seal and open to burp......

Later I can decide what goes into glass for storage and then vac sealed for later use.
Pre made all the bags for the rest to go in while I was motivated.

Pineapple Chunk, as usual, is a giver.

Went total of 310g on both pineapple chunk plants, or 11oz in the ol money. Happy with that.

The Gelat OG and Peyote Critical will come down the next few days, just need a lil more dry time.
Those 4 are the biggest, I did all the smaller ones first, so the biggest are yet to come.

We are now at 590g or 21oz and still 4 plants to trim and weigh.
Think there might be a bit more there than I guesstimated.... Stoner.

Easy guess is 1.5g-watt...945g, think I got that easy. Just over 2 pound.

I was hoping for 2g-watt, ambitious I know, but may fall a fair bit short of 1260g target.

Wow Lowie you always impress me with the hauls you get out of your tent that should keep you stocked up for awhile. I'm liking the bag curing idea you are so right curing in the jars is a pain and I have been thinking about a method that would be alot easier I was going to try using paper bags after the initial dry but I don't know just kicking around ideas.

Wouldn't paper bags suck the rest of the moisture right out of the bud and just dry it completely out. Unless you put a boveda pack in? And if your going to do that why not just use jars as with the 62% boveda packs in Mason jars you don't need to burp near as often? Just what I've read or watched on you tube. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

The paper bag idea came from years back when my brother in law was growing and would dry and cure multiple pounds at a time. He would dry it in drying racks and after it was dry enough he would put them in paper bags the bags would slow the drying process and once a day he would open the bags and kinda stir the buds around in the bag so they wouldn't stick together kinda similar to how I open my jars now twice a day to exchange the air. After a couple of days in the bag he would jar the buds opening the jars occasionally and after about a week they would be perfectly cured. This is going back about 15 years there was no boveda packs then I don't think. As far as the boveda they are ment to maintain your humidity in the the jars at 62% but you have to get the buds to that Rh before you put the packs in the jar they are not really ment to bring moist buds down to the humidity you want them at.

Vac sealer is a must IMO. You want best quality freshness , you need to evacuate the air. Its a bit of an art not to squish it up too much, but get as much air out as possible. I have cured in bags before, then store in them, the buds are the same freshness as when you bagged them 6-12 months later.
I used paperbags back in the day, works great, but try not to overdry.

With my grows, Im wanting to see how much I get just out of interest in how efficient I can get it.
This grow comes out as....

630w CMH - 1080g or 1.7g per watt.

White Widow- 3 plants - 280g

Pineapple Chunk- 2 plants - 310g

Peyote Critical - 2 plants - 260g

Gelat OG - 2 plants - 230g

or 38oz of lcky Sticky buds.

I will admit to more leaf than I usually leave on, but the CMH really pumped the trichome production, so its fine.

On the home stretch.....

All bagged and ready for slow burping, then vac seal to keep for later......

Hey guys, Just vac sealed all the buds in bags and turned off the grow tent.
This is a nice sight......

That will be curing for a few months now.
Stashed away for future use....

Now I got enough meds for ages.
Im still trying to get through the last harvest.....

I got my work cut out for me....haha
Also got some G13 haze stashed for squishing with Dutchy and Grandpa.. ....and a big vac sealed bag of the choicest colas which I put aside for special occasions.

I may have a year off at this rate, but I think more likely I will just cut grow down to 1 grow a year, 2x 315w CMH and a 4' x 8'- 8 plants, its enough for my needs.
Or as you can see, I cant smoke it fast enough...Doh!
