Hey guys,
Thought I would start a NEW grow using the same strains but with 15-20L pots and 5 plants, instead of 8 plants and 9L pots like last grow.

You know,the drill.
2 x Lucius 315w CMH with Controller.
1.2m x 2.4m Tent.
70/30 Coco-Perlite.
House and Garden Cocos A&B+additives.

Total Grow Room including Veg area power draw is under 900w.
As a comparison.... My Rosin press draws 900w. So its low cost buds but high quality results.

I have already recycled some coco and pots just need a good scrubbing in boiling hot water.
Heres what will be about 60L recycled and have another 50L bag to mix in of new stuff, will need 90L. 2 x 15L, 3 x 20L.

Used coco - perlite, most roots taken out then flush later with multizyme....disolves dead...

The girls should be ready to go straight into bigger pots and veg up under CMH.

Need a lil love, just finish jarring etc, get 3-5 under cmh for a veg up. I purposely stall them...

I also rearranged my ventilation and lighting.....now with lights how they should be but will mount direct to top bars later...

Thats about it for now, bit of work to do tommorrow, then will be back to resume scheduled programming......

Well, been a destroyed morning, woke up.....just try a Peyote Critical joint.... Mmmmm....maybe some G13 Rosin....mmmm......that WW smells too good to resist while burping the jars.....Mmmmm.....

Here we go.....
I got the ballasts out to ends,of tent with a bit of creative wiring and got the lights higher. They will stay there, but can be lowered in flower...or focal reflectors... Mine are Magnetic shades, frame of it stays and interchange shades...easy.
Just got to buy the shades....for flower maybe.

This is the new light arrangement and fan filter combo, notice I re enforce any hang points of filter and fan...heaviest.

These are the plants I want to keep as Mums, like lil bonsais...lol..

Then we have the five Veg up and Flower selection....all in 4.5L coco ready to pump. Been under 38w of leds to keep them compact....

Of course I had a joint after all the work, now off to clean pots and get coco etc ready to pot up and get em under 315w CMH Goodness.....

Cheers Al, just going to fire up the,one CMH and get those girls going.

I potted up 5 girls for Cmh veg and flower, then got carried away and repotted 4 small mums in 4.5L pots.
Used all that recycled coco and about 15L more new stuff.

All hard work done, watered in with micho and tricha, with a lil root excelorator.... Should help them take off.

Controller has a 20/4 light schedule because was that in veg tent to keep temps up, and want them to stay in veg for now.
Resi is filled, thats game on here...

Just woke up smoked a Gelat OG joint with my coffee....
I might not be able to fly with the eagles but I bet I am WAY Higher....


I grew under hps for years, but if I had known that cmh produced such flavour filled buds, I would of swapped out years ago. Oils are right up there, maybe buds are smaller, but big buds mould easier, so its kind of better.
Frosty even on the worst down low out of light buds, and they are still thick chunky lil nugs.

Uva and Uvb take care of most moulds etc, plant health is,increased due to fuller spectrum as the plants are MADE for that spectrum through nature.
Maybe just because we dont understand why the plant needs that part of the spectrum is not any reason to discount it, when nature has shown us thats how they like it.
Just my thoughts... Farkin Gelat...got me ramblin.....

Ok, plants are perking up under CMH.
Just one day and they are reaching for it already.

I didnt get any root porn on repot as I had heaps to do, but they will fill those pots in 4 weeks easy.
I could of put the,Mums under cmh as well for a boost, but I want them to stay smallish, like Bonsais. Cold temps are perfect, as long as there is,fresh air flow.
Low powered LED keep them healthy but small. Those mums are over 4 months from clone, nice and compact.

For me I dont want totally perpetual.
I have hot summers, up to 40C+, would spend more on enviromental control than its worth. Plus 2 grows does my smoko for a whole year.....and yes....I smoke it all...hehehe.

The 5 girls getting their veg on...... Only 19C in there, but its 0C outside.

Cheers mate, they are off colour and a bit droopy, need a proper feed.
They will go ballistic soon.
Cmh is great, totally different beast to hps or mh of old with magnetic and digi ballasts.
This is a square wave ballast, digital, but a 315w will go 1 gram per watt...not even trying. I just pulled 1.3g-watt and Im still dialing them in.
I think with focal reflectors 2g per watt in coco would be achievable.

The CMH runs internally hotter, but outside the bulb, cooler. Its weird.
I ran one in 30-40C heat, plant quality suffered but still pumped good buds.
Im a firm believer that these and full spectrum LED are the future grow lights.
CMH is it for me....just got to play more.
This is 3rd grow with them just now.
