I started this journal late in the process but I believe the most important phase.
We dropped a bag seed out of what we think was Lemon Jack into a dead potted plant. We were stoned at that point so really who knows. To our surprise up pops a little girl. That started this adventure. We will use “we” because at this point me and the wife will share this journal. She will be doing photos and correcting my grammar. Pictures will usually follow post.

After much reading here, our plans are to flower these and we have purchased everything to do DWC in buckets after this grow.

The Lemon Jack, which is the big chick in the tent, was planted, we think, Dec. Again stoned. We planted all the little girls early June. These plants are our learning platform and really trying to get everything Dialed in.

We flipped on August 4. Since flip we are feeding 800-900 ppm and really not paying much attention to the PH at this point because it’s the AN ph perfect line and since I started feeding I haven’t had lock out. Last feed we were at 920 and I had a little nute burn on the tips. Our plan is to switch over to mixing our own salts after reading Sky Falls journals. We are battling heat and are working daily to get temps down. We are making strides and should have it under control the next few days.

We are using an Iponics controller to control the grow room and are slowly but surely getting it dialed in. Humidity was killing us at night but we added a dehumidifier and seem to have that under control. Over the next few days, we will be tying the budsites back to open up for lighting. Since flip we have had 3” of new growth. Yesterday we wasted a male. Most of the small ones are taking their time with flower.

I look forward to any all productive criticism and learning from all of y’all. We don’t mind any others jumping in with their grow also.

Start of photo dump.

Thanks for stopping in. Everything for hydro is still in boxes for a few more weeks. I bought the Viagrow buckets and hydrotron will be the medium. I have a chiller for the water and blue labs ph controller. We also bought a small tent to set up the perpetual grow to VEG then move to big tent for flower. I will post pics on a new journal when we start that process. We will need all the help we can get.

It’s the week end come Monday you’ll see more 420 growers coming to check you out !

Awesome quick start Hydroholic and wife (handle?) .

Check out our sponsor page because i believe you could give a shout out to the sponsors of the products you run.

Plants look awesome ( hats off to camera lady )

As I patiently await the lights to come on, I reflect the true hell we put these plants through already. Until a couple weeks ago they were in a storage building in 94 degree temps under a 250w purple led with fans. I could tell there was slowed growth but it also taught me these plants are pretty hardy. They also went through a couple of extreme dry cycles. I was having to water every 2 days and I screwed up a couple times and missed that 2nd day. I truly thought I had smoked them before we could smoke them. I thought for sure the plants would hermi but so far so good. Today we will be off to get some insulation to try and get the temps to drop some more.

They’re pretty resilient, hence the name weed. Sometimes my greenhouse gets to 110 degrees on a hot day.. but the roots are very cold, about 75 degrees. Transpiration doesn’t work the best, but at least the roots aren’t overheating. Although it’s easier to moderate temps in very large containers, 30 gallon and up.

Some people grow them under CFLs, and t5 lights.. don’t feel too bad about your plants.

This made me feel better about the 84 degree temps. 110 is insane. I am trying to get all the environmental stuff under control before moving over to DWC next grow. If it wasn’t for all the kick ass growers here I would be lost.

Very cool set up hydrohaulic and wife, or is it hydrohaulic and husband.. :hmmmm: we’ll just call you both hydrohaulic :laughtwo: you should get your wife to make a name as well so that people like me, or well maybe it’s just me, to reference you as. Haha I need to wake up, where’s my coffee haha:lot-o-toke:

You look to be set up real good! I’m in and excited to follow!

You’ve got some amazing help here already following along!! :ciao: Hey everyone! This is going to be a good show ain’t it?

Did some insulation today and already can tell that we made a difference. It was also a sad day because we had to pull one more plant due to being a male. This was the last one, others are females. 6 out of 8 females for bag seed seems like great odds. The large girl is really showing flower growth now.

They all seem to be great with the bump in Nutrients ppm. I will increase again when I water again.

You guys are relentless! Account created. Some pics for today.

Day 8 since flip.

Looks like no more heat issues. Hotter today than it has been yet and the tent is holding a firm 80 degrees.
The leaf picture is LSD. It has not put out any this size until now, it leads me to believe the environment change is indeed helping.
It’s been difficult to get a good picture of the Iponics screen.
