LSD, Lemon Jack, OG Kush, Timber Lighting, Fox Farms

I routed the intake vent over to the A/C vent before we insulated. It helped but the increase in insulation really helped. I have my exhaust dumped outside the tent but not routed outside. I feel like if I start dumping outside I will do nothing but pull A/C out of the room.
I see lots of people dumping outside but I don’t believe there is enough heat off my lights to warrant that.
I am open ears if I am not thinking about this correctly.
This should be the only summer to deal with this because we are building a house with a grow room and proper ventilation.
I am also not using a Carbon Filter yet until the smell is an issue. Being my first grow I am unsure when the smell will kick in. Don’t need all my pot head friends knowing our secret. :p

Had to remove another plant. It turns out it was another male. I made the wife kill it this time. I think we are going to have to get a worm bin so we don’t feel guilty over throwing the plants on the burn pile.

Checked the plants and pots were light so it was feed day. Big girl took a gallon before I got slight run off. Little ones took roughly 12 ounces each before run off.

Increased the ppm slightly as the plants had very small nute burn on the leaves from the last feeding.
I am around 75% of full strength recommendations from the calculator. Flowers are coming in nicely on all the plants. I am a little nervous because I had been feeding nutrients then on the next watering, just water. I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t have a big issue. Here’s to pretty sure. :bongrip: The big girl don’t seem to be stretching as much as I thought it would. I’ve read where they have doubled in size. The little ones have grown as expected. Will the age of the plant have any effect on the stretch? I know it was within 2 days that the Big Female we call Fuckd 1.0 showing her flowers. Seems she was ready to flower. This gives me hope they will get nice fat colas instead of it using lots of energy to stretch. Thoughts?

On another note. The plan was to use the DWC buckets on the next grow but I think instead I will use our 18 plant grow table to clear out the Auto’s we have. These seeds were given to me. We are already salivating over a few strains that we want to grow.

You guys have some nice plants. Good work!

Thanks. I’m amazed every time I go check the plants. Been reading your multistrain grow. Looks like you are making strides.

Looking great! I’m loving the strain selection on your next go.

Plants like to really stretch in seedling stage, as they get older, their less prone to stretch at an unhealthy rate. It all depends on what your light height is at. I drop my T5 right down for my seedlings, then raise it as they get out of the seedlings stage. Just gotta play with your height on your lights and figure out a happy medium that you like! :thumb:

Thoughts on the plant flowering..? When their ready their ready lol, was she an auto?

They are all in flower now. More the 2-3 week stretch when flower starts. I am 9 days in and not much stretching on the big girl.

Ahh I gotchya, I’m following you now! I bet by day 14 to 21, they will really start stretching. Once they do start stretching, it doesn’t really matter what height the light is at, when they want to stretch they’ll stretch, then you gotta be carful that the plant doesn’t stretch past the point of being too close to the light. Use the back of your hand method for that. Hand under the light palm down, if its comfortable to you, it’s uncomfortable for your plants. Adjust accordingly. :passitleft:

Surprised every time I unzip the tent. Girls seem to be doing great. I’m really looking forward to moving over to hydro. This hands off approach is kinda dull.
Anyone have any good recommendations for clip fans?

Hi! Awesome light... watching to see if you have issues similar to mine with a similar light. I am finding that the COBs can easily be too much light, and I will be very curious to watch the distance and intensity that you work with. It does look like you are at some distance and working without the reflectors.
I had just went and took a photo. I am about 17” and running about 60%. I think I will order a lux meter. I’m now sitting here laughing, I can’t put the reflectors on because I am still learning to move around the tent without banging my head. Learning the hard way. Did you try the lights without your reflectors?

The sensors in the camera of most newer phones are pretty advanced. There is lux meter apps.

Unless spending a fair chunk on a good par meter. One can use this and be able to dial in sweet spot for plants.

I saw a few people using the apps. Wasn’t real sure they were accurate. I will download one. Thanks
