I've been trying to grow Luffa.
For 2 years now, every plant I grow gets to a certain size, then suffers horrible root rot.
I've been doing it in my raised outdoor bed. No problems with other plants... strawberries, basil, cilantro, some sort of flowery plant (to make the mrs. happy).
My buddy grows literal walls of luffa plants on a long clothesline, so I know they grow in my climate.
My most recent victim just rotted out the other day. I took a start to see if it will root.
Thoughts anyone?
