hi all, my last journal was in need of some reference pics, so this time, ima take a lot, so sorry about all the seedling pics, most want to see the mature flowering plant. aaaannyway.....

so my humidity is way low right? whats a normal, or just a good range i should go by?

and check it out, my ventilation system keeps the temp at +5-6 deg, thats perfect, i think.

mylar is going up in the vegclone cab tomorrow, and also i will put the panda film up in the flowering room to block off the L-shape around the water-heater...

wonder if i can use this space to my advantage some how some way...

What would you do in my if u were me. (you might be too high to do anything right. )

I was told not to worry about humidity too much when growing in a confined area. All you really need to do is mist them a few times a day I guess. Apparently, the humidity will also rise as the plants get bigger... or so I'm told.

good to know, i turned my fans off and plugged the holes, place 2 jars of water in there and a kettle of water on the heater vent, that should get me up a few %.

u both doing better than mine as you prob heard me crying about. totally deteriated. have 2 new seeds in germing and hope to save the 2 rhinos that only half dead sighhhh.

I have noticed big fluctuations with the humidity also whichis suprising, it has ranged from up to 70% down to like 20% also. Wasnt expecting that. Mind you we having asome very changeable weather for here all round. Bloody cold today, brrrrrr.

the temp on mine was wrong, the probe had fell right in front of the intake fan so it was reading 70. Now its 76-80 depending on ambient temps, 6-8 deg difference.

went out and got some mounting brackets, clamps, screws, drill bits, metal tape, double sided tape, velcro, and 4 more 6500k 26watters to replace 4 3500k that i have in there. Seedlings, clones and mothers dont need the 3500k, so why not right?

ups runs after 2, i am at work after 2, sooo, signing the paper is a little hard. I called ups and they are going to send it to my work. :X

plans tonight... mylar the clone mother cab, organize the build for this weekend.

Mylar time! not as fun as i make it sound.

This is what i started with.

Here we go, these got out of order some how, but ill try my best to reorder them.....

i simply cut the mylar the same as each wall and put double sided duct tape pieces on the back.

one side done...

back and shelf...

doors are done..

lights re-hung... holes in the back to guide the wire away from the mylar...

lights on!!!!...

wow, i love it... dont be fooled by imitations, mylar is nice,

case closed...

it looks like it doubled my light, thats great!!, well im pretty tired rite now, hard to type.

Flowering room build is in progress....

Fan mounted..

To mount the carbon filter, i used this bracket that came with the cooltubes, couldnt figure out what it was for, so i drilled a hole in it and hung it from the inner roof, and used string from old blinds to hold it up.

Used a 4'' coupler and ran it through the ceiling tile..

pipe down to the inner tile...

replace insulation..

replace tile, this shit was hard.

place ballast above tiles...

replace tile..

sealed tiles on opposite side of grow..

panda film...

sealed with metal tape..

sealed tiles, still need to do around coupling...

light and vent setup goes in..

testing light..

works, tidy up some wiring..

sideways pic, for the vertically impaired...

more to come, have to find a good dual outlet timer, any suggestions?

Looking good luxx! I used a vary similar method to hang my mylar. Double sided super sticky tape ftw! Mylar is a pain in the ass to put up, if you ask me.

it is, i just mylared out the flowering room, well need to do inside of door, but i need to sound proof and light proof it 1st.

doing to research on a muffler for my cooltube, its loud in there, i guess ill shell out 30 more bones for a inline fan controller. need to find ways to hide the light from coming from the room when the doors shut, this is a must, any suggestions would be nice..

the light from my closet leaks out a lot. i just stuff towels under the door. it comes out of the side by the doorknob too, but i have some clutter & a lot of art supplies in my room, so i propped up a big canvas to block it. a little light sneaks out the top but it's not too noticeable.

this room is off from my kitchen., i am going to put a 4 foot shelf in front of the door to simulate that i dont use it ever and move it when i need in. but that doesn't cure the light leakage, looks like ive got the sun prisoner in a closet.

hmmm. the only thing i can think of is if you maybe use duct tape somehow. like run it along the cracks of the door from the inside. it would probably be a hassle to setup though.

has anyone felt like they over did their setups? like right now, i feel like i might have bit off more than i can chew. I have never been this desperate for a countermeasure. i need to smoke to function, and to smoke i need to grow.

the whole reason i smoke mj for is because i have super high anxiety and used to take 6mg of xanax a day. my mind was so cloudy, couldn't remember a conversation as i was having it. besides that, it cost me 120 dollars from the doc monthly and 20 for the pills, not to mention the 10 dollars in gas and the minus time for missing work. SOOO.. then i started buying the Xanax off the street and self medicated,, umm myself. Well Ive only taken .5 mg Xanax in the past 3 months, and ill tell you how i did it... i went to my friend that was growing and got 3 primo oz from him for 250 a piece so thats 2 months worth, discount of around 50 bones, and soo much safer than Xanax. .5 mg of Xanax can stop your heart. well to continue the story, (for my documentation reasons also) he moved away and i wasn't able to get that deal, so i went else-ware, got a oz for 200 of some mids, and i was having daily anxiety attacks while smoking it, needed to take a few Xanax or Valium to get it back in my system to keep from withdrawing bad. So, i need to grow, good, clean, strong pot, and a lot to control my behavior disorder.(their might be a strain for that)

my bills are payed but due all the time, i work 45 hours a week as a cook.
noone comes in my house except 5 different people, whom i trust to keep their mouths shut, but im worried that i might get caught or robbed.

soooooo, with that being said, did i go to far or should i keep my head up and just not worry about it like i did with my last grow. i am not giving up, just the thought of a non stop grow is intimidating.

has anyone felt that way?

i apologize for u having to read all that, just need some opinions.

Update time, day 7 of my seedlings... leaves curling under, my drainage in the soils isn't the same in each cup, inconsistency that i almost counted on. One plant is thriving, and i am hoping that its a she and she will produce my meds for the next year or so. Anyway pics.

It looks like i had some leaves starting to twist, my lights are too close i guess, so i backed them off 2 more inches.

My intake pc fan on my mother clone cab needs some soldering done since i jerked the wire out. Either going to go get a soldering iron and solder, or i buy a new fan, since the prices are about the same, i will opt for a new fan, as soon as i can.

While i was adjusting the shelf for better airflow, i allowed one of my leaves to get bitten in half by a weed loving cat. That was my mistake, although i dont think it hurt it any.

CANT WAIT TO START 12/12!!!

Nah just kidding bro. Don't feel slighted at all, sometimes it takes a lil while for your journal to pick up steam. I woulda answered earlier but I was having a very intense self-gratification session, so my apologies.
Anywho, lookin good so far

As far as feeling like you over did it. Nah trust me, you haven't gone overboard from what i've seen. You can easily spend 4 g's setting up a grow. And ill for-warn you now that your first couple grows are going to be filled with non-stop upgrading. You're always going to feel like you need something new lol. Its all good tho, cause it will be worth it. As far as those 5 ppl, i hope you really trust them cause 9/10 times ppl get caught its usually a neighbor or friend saying something.. if security is ever an issue, then whether to grow or not will ultimately be your decision

How long do you plan to veg for with that amount of plants?
