There's a proposal for a medical marijuana shop in Hanover.
Mass Organic Therapy wants to build a nearly 500,000-square-foot building on Washington Street.
Operators told the planning board that they'd grow the pot in Webster and have dispensaries in Hanover and Oxford.
If approved, the shop would have two security guards on-site during business hours with deliveries being made at random times using random routes with police notified in advance.
Hanover is working on a community benefit agreement to see if the company would make a mitigation payment.
The planning board will take up the matter again next month.
