I did a 50% res change today, last time I did 100% with the HEPA in place and still had some clouding over for a couple days.

The clones didn't work out, I threw them out today, only 2 or 3 had any roots at all. On the up side the 25ml of zyme I added 3 weeks ago kept all signs of slime out of the ez clone.

I looked up my strain the other days and found it says 70-80 days, so I plan to let these go another 3 weeks, which is a 20 days longer than I let it go the last two times. Maybe they will be denser. I looked at the trichs under the scope today and noticed some with brown tips, I think that is because they are about 14" from the DS light that they should be 24" from.

I was considering trimming the buds closer and letting the others grow out but I decided to let it ride. I am going to order some P-Chunk soon for the quicker maturity and smaller stature.

the grow with 540w , what lights did u have? also with the 760w what lights did u have ?i love the DS lights , im looking to get 4 of the 400s,split into two rooms, with another with a 180w veg light, just wondering what to expect or how many plants can i put under two (2) 400w lights side by sidei was thinking like 5 or 6 using cross-lighting as extra coverage...thanks i love your journals and any input appreciated

hi

1st very nice setup and plants. I got a question 4 u. What is your wart chiller hooked up to? how is it cooling your res. I was going to put my wart chiller in a mini fridge and run my water through it (wart chiller in mini fridge) right back to my res and pump my chilled water directly from the res to my plants. how does yours work?

This grow was harvested 3-25 a couple weeks early. I dried it a bit too quick because I was busy with work and left the DH too high in the drying room. The yield was about 10 ounces, which is similar to last grow, and a pretty terrible g/W ratio.

Both grows had problems early on so I still think I have not mastered my technique enough to say where the problem lies.

For my next run I have decided on a mover with no light box, no water cooling or sealed just planing to the use the AIR-4 and PPM-3 for cooling and CO2. The AIR-4 will bring in air from a connected room I will have a carbon filter running in the closet and another on the intermittent vent.

The new run is also P-Chunk. Some friends have said that Sativa heavy strains are harder to clone? Can anyone confirm that? G13/Haze was 80/20 sativa/indica so maybe that was my problem with density and cloning??

Hey there Maer have read your things I can say are yes sativa is a lil hader to clone and remember to just feed ur mothers plain ph'd water for 3 to 5 days before cutting clones and IMO the best thing for your ez cloner or most any aero cloning setup using R/O or distilled has always slowed my rooting process nowadays I cut and bubble clone but I scrape up high on the clone above water level and even in my aero cloners I scrape a lil slightly off the upper potion of the clone to promote roots starting up high as well as down low where they normally strat making fo roots below collar all the way down not just a ring aroind the bottom of the stem I made a very similar setup to yours and I found out during flowering if your getting hard sediments in your es you probably have a nute lockout from the way ur adding nutes or mixing in ur rez BTW u mentioned kinda how you were adding but could you explain agian then ill let you know what I thnik

I usually fill my rest with about 10 gals of fresh RO then add my nutes to that, I think that is the was CES says to do it. Half of my next cycle will be CES the second half might be BPN depending on when I run out of CES.

So you use tap water with clones? Seems ill advised my area all the tap is infested with bacilius, not to mention 250ppm of unknown crap.

Yea I use tap water my tap comes out like 370 ppm I dont have the gel but I dont use the powder in my aeros but I do in my bubble but for some reason the ro water doesnt do something they need oh yea I also meant to tell you on my nft I also had problems in flower and found out 1 that the ends should be completly closed as to hold some humidity in the chamber for that upper root zone and using spreader mat is a must but ultimately I ended up changing it to drip and then to aero with aero being the best big plants but even in my cloners all pumps have a pump bag or panty hose covering it andkeep ur swsyem clean alot can go wrong fast so try to flush ur system with a cleaning agent every week and a half or two and I never had a chiller and ran in to no res problems put my res in front of where.ac comes from and wiyth leds it should be easier for u to maintain res temps oh and what is ces ive only used gh 3 part gh floranova series and bpn and some ff powders and on the nute mix thing how do you top up nutes? Or do u just top up water and refill whole res when needed once a week?

Sup to all my peeps! It has been a while since I have grown I started a cycle in October but then the storm and everything got fuuuucked major league.

I plan to move to a fully legal state (WA, CO) and start growing again in summer 2014, see you all then.
