Magnus Growing Chemdawg Using Remo Nutes

Hi all! Hope you're all doing splendidly.

(Should I make that word - splendidly- the word for the day?)

I am doing splendidly. The plants are doing splendidly - considering all they have been through. So let's take a look st them, shake we?

Splendid!

First of all...the runt...

Is it live or is it Memorex!

Sorry about that... A 1980s commercial.hutni dont know about this little runt. She is fighting but not so hard. I'm afraid I may lose her yet.

This one got light burn. I'm certain of it...

15888564589116735477572446915619.jpg

And this one is looking just plain weird. I did reduce the nitrogen in my last feeding but it hasnt helped as of yet.

This one is doing nicely.

This one too.

And this is my strongest plant of all.

So there you have 'em, my plants on this lovely May morning. Anyone got any suggestions? I started hardening them off to be transplanted outside. This way they'll be ready to go outside. Actually, I was so tired yesterday that instead of having them out for just a few hours I only remembered they were outside late in the evening, just before dusk! Oopsie! I'll have to set an alarm to remember then by. I'd hate to wake up to a bunch if dead plants after all this...

So if any of you have hardening advice I'm all ears. What works best for you?

Ok. I'm gonna take my leave and post this. Maybe i'll troll the current posts to see if I can actually help someone else.

Hey - that's an idea, dude!

Cheers,
~Magnus

You said you have something planned?
Oh man - the only reference I can find to planning something was on the page before this where I mentioned I planned on putting my current grow into my outside grow. That's all I can find where I said i planned something.

Do you have any way of reminding me about what I planned?

I feel like such an idiot right now...

All my best,
~Magnus

Hey OldSmokey! Was wondering where you were...

Yes I am still planning on thmransplanting them outside. It seems the sensible solution. Then I have some regular seeds coming that were crossed by another amature (I think) seed producer. Anyway more about them when they come.

I'm going to grow autos in my big planters and photos in these plastic totes I have just for this purpose. This way my photos (the plants you see above) wont grow so big that I cannot cover them on my own. And the photos...well, I dont have to cover them at all.

But you should come around more. My plants are still inside and consuming nutes so I could still use your expertise!

And then I will be starting the other photos that will be arriving soon. And they will all be indoor plants.

So there is still more to come that might interest you more than an outdoor grow...

All my best,
~Magnus
Ok here it is last paragraph. I thought you had something coming to lol

For me it has been happening and getting worse for 10 years now. I am going to see a neurologist on 12 May - in just a few days. I suspect he is going to try to attribute it to all my meds or my fibromyalgia. But I wont let him get away with that. My memory issues began about 10 years ago now - long before either of these issues.

Thanks for the laughing little smile. He made my day.

All my best,

Hi everyone!

I have some special someones to introduce you to... A friend's grow license hasn't come in in time and so rather than risk getting caught with too many plants he gave me a number of clones he has been kinda unsuccessful with.

These are Bubba Kush clones and they were cut from their mother about two months ago. I do not have any definite date for when they were first severed from their mother. However, I gladly took them anyway.

Mmmm-mmmmm. Me likes Bubba Kush. Me smoked it before and me likes it me does.

Ok. Enough weirdness.

So I've got me some new Bubba Kush clones. And they aren't doing to well.

I've set them out in the sun hoping that some natural light might perk them up a bit.

So they are a out 2 months old.

They've received half strength nutes for the first week on Remo nutes.

They are quite small for their age.

Here is what Leafly has to say about the Bubba Kush strain - which is an indica dominant hybrid (I think) that is known to be incredibly relaxing. I hope to get clones from these suckers and keep the strain as part of my repertoire just like my Chemdawgs - clone 'em and keep 'em going. Hell my prescription is for 6 grams per day (I use most of it for making topicals) so that allows me 12 outdoor plants or 30 indoor plants. So with a 30 plant inside limit I'm sure that allows me lots of room for regenerating strains through a selective cloning program. Hell, I might even look into breeding my Chemdawgs with my Bubba Kush to see what I could get from it. I'd have to acquire a Male for breeding and right now every single plant I own is a female so thst would require buying some regular seeds to get a seed crossing operation to go on.

I dont know why but trying to cross genetics myself really really really interests me. I'm sure if I asked around on this site I could probably find someone to mentor me in the process, though I kinda know how to do it already...

So anyway let's take a look at the clones...

And now my usual plants - the Chemdawgs.

So those are my plants. Sorry bout the pics; it's a windy day outside.

So what do you think about my new Bubba Kush clones? Pretty pathetic, eh? But I will have them fully rooted and springing to life in no time. I've never seen sunshine as an unwelcome ingredient for plant growth. Let's see if a little sunshine does the trick for these lovely little plants...

Hey, if you all have suggestions for my new clones please let me know...BEFORE I murder them!

Thanks in advance for any help given.

All my best,
~Magnus

Sun and some nutes should get them going. Do you have bigger pots they can go in?

I have some. I'm really low on pots though. I thought I would report them once they are transplanted outside, which will be the last weekend of this month...

Hey Penny, I edited my earlier post. In it i talked about a breeding program. I'd like to, one day, try breeding my own new strains. Yeah, i know there are probably lots of good strains out there already but i just want to try it one day to see what i can accomplish.

So the question is...do you know anyone on 420mag who is already doing this who might be able to mentor mr through the process?
