Make your own carts from shatter

I am making my own cartridges from shatter i get from my dispensory. ive used shatter batter and it was horrible, the tast and dilluted it so much it was pathetic. Now im using terpenes and a little pg added. does anybody have any suggestions on making a better cart? sometimes it turns hard after being like slightly thin honey. does anybody have the ratio of terps that i need? Consider using a Dab pen, like the Yucan Evolve Plus, I love mine, just ordered a second one.
Put the shatter directly into the pin.
