Making the switch from soil to DWC

I get what you are planning....I've just never seen any kind of DWC or RDWC without air stones or bubblers of some sort in the plant bucket.
 
If you're curious I can link you a thread from an another forum that goes into how you don't need airstones if you run a waterfall. I don't think I can link in this thread so I'd have to PM ya.

But yeah apparently using a waterfall makes reaching maximum DO very very easy. Only think you have to worry about is water temps.
 
I did a little digging & educated myself lol. Looks like an interesting approach.

After seeing what you are going for I would definitely use multiple returns to your tote. A long manifold with multiple holes would work great I would think. Agitate as much of the surface area as you can.

If your water temps get to high you can DIY a peltier chiller for cheap.
This was my first diy chiller, cost about $70 bucks to build. And yes it's reading 54.4 degrees F :p
