Police in a northeast Ohio community said they cited a man for marijuana possession after he brought a pot plant to the police station.

Elyria police said 20-year-old Dustin Spurlock presented the weed Sunday afternoon and reported that someone had stolen it from him, but he tracked it down and got it back.

Earlier, police had gone to check on a reported theft from a home, where neighbors said they saw two teenagers throwing plants over a 6-foot fence to a third boy.

Police said Spurlock may not have realized the problem with reporting a stolen marijuana plant.

If it weren't for people like this young man, how else would we judge intelligence? I say we celebrate this boys existance for setting a new bench mark on stupidity.

Either this guy is retarded, or we're not hearing the whole story. How often does somebody stop by the station just to inform them that they located their stolen item?

I know right .... Something definetly seems weird ..
