Marijuana and Winter Months

Now I'm thinking that in some areas even during some light snow and freezing that mature plants will survive through the winter. Can that be done?

I'm sure that seedlings and early stage plants will have a hard time living through it... Even if you rescue it from the snow, but can mature plants survive year round and potential re-bud?

well i can tell you this many of my friends went travleing to india and got up on mountains that ware above 2000 meters, cold and snowy and they have seen weed growing there so i guess its posiable for some strains to grow in extreme conditions and enviorments.
