Dr D Saul, I tried and tried last year and that was about the time he stopped taking new patients. I am filling out paperwork now for The Toronto Compassion Clinic, has anyone been there. I went to Dr. Kammerman last year. Any leads to a Dr. in GTA or Barrie, I will travel and I am running out of time for my renewal.

Good question.

I've suffered from Crohn's since I was 15 and Cannabis is the way to go! Fuck Prednisone and Asacol.

I have kidney disease as well and I'm sitting at 35% function. I haven't been able to work steadily and have moved to Ottawa to be closer to family for support.

I'm hoping to find a gastro specialist here that will approve me as purchasing is now impossible.

So if anyone has any recommendations please post or PM me.

I also suffer from Crohns, today my specialist turned me down because he said he has never done this before and doesn't want to go there. This is even though he agrees that this has been the most effective treatment for me.
 
Hey I know this was posted a while back but I had some questions I was hoping you (or anyone else for that matter) wouldn't mind answering. First of all, did Dr. Saul help you get into a compassion club? Also who was the doctor who wanted $250 for the diagnosis letter? Do you still see Dr. Saul? Will I have to bring up the idea of Medical Marijuana with Dr. Saul or is that something he would bring up (I have chronic headaches for the past 2 years along with insomnia and consistent nausea)? Thanks :D

Great idea Iceman! I can add 2 doctors to the "dismiss" pile! Dr. Mariko Shibata in Edmonton, and Dr. Leonie Maritz in West Kelowna. Dr. Shibata is young and totally brainwashed against medicinal MJ! Maritz is older and she practically did the Exorcist head spinning & vomiting when I asked her about it! "THERE'S NO SCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT MEDICINAL MJ HELPS WITH ANY DISEASES, PERIOD!" I said; "Um, I disagree, it cures cancer!" I won't be seeing her again!! It's mind boggling that doctors LOVE to hand out antidepressants like Tic Tacs which are in fact scientifically proven to make one suicidal but when it comes to Med MJ - they actually become volatile! Removing the Health Canada middle man is saving folks money but now we're between doctors who are trained against it and growers that can't supply without a prescription! Maddening! I'll keep the forum posted when I do find MJ friendly physicians in my area (Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton). A warm hello to all.
