On Saturday, Americans for Safe Access will be offering free raid training in West Hollywood, as well as teaching people how to effectively communicate with their elected officials. Please encourage everyone you know who would benefit from this kind of information to attend. The specifics are below.

I hope you will make plans now to attend the Los Angeles Americans for Safe Access (LA-ASA) meeting and trainings in West Hollywood on Saturday, November 17. You already know we will be talking about a proposed ordinance in Los Angeles and two new voter initiatives. We are also having a free Know Your Rights and raid preparedness trainings. We are also going to have a brief update on "The ABC's of Citizen Advocacy" - ASA's training for medical cannabis advocates who want to be more effective when talking with elected officials. These are important skills right now, because it is time to get back into City Council offices and tell them to adopt an ordinance this year. Learn more about the new campaign on Saturday.

There is inexpensive paid parking available in the parking garage. Enter near the Beverages & More door from the garage, or through the double glass doors between Jersey Mike's and Rockin' Sushi on Santa Monica Blvd.
