ok, here we go. been working on the shed since june and i pretty confident that i now have a controlled grow environment. been running for 3 weeks now and the temp has stayed steady at 74 degrees and 40 % RH. I've spent a lot of $$$ so i hope my quality and quantity improve I'll be needing some guidance along the way being I'm growing from soil to hydro. been growing for over a year now and have a lot of knowledge to show for it.
ok, here's what i have going on.
strain- dropped 12 black russian's from 1 of our sponsors @barnies tonight
bought 6 sp250's from Mars Hydro, another sponsor@SmokeSara
bucket size is 5 gal
media is hydroton
nuets are Cutters Edge and that could change
Chiller set at 58 degrees
55 gal res
Flow and Grow brain bucket
grow space is 10' x 12'
Mini split heat and air set at 74 degrees.
dehumidifier set at 40% RH.
Blue Labs PH Doser set at 5.8

i hope that's enough info to start with, all the help i can get I'll take. I'll post some pics of where I came from to where I'm at now. I'll post 10 more that i don't have downloaded on the computer in the next post.

I myself try to stay between 66 to 68. But anywhere between 65 and 70 is ok. Since you have a chiller maybe just try a 67 or 68 and the tweak it as you go. Play safe.

I'll recheck the temp because I'm doing like the mohicans, its probably 68. So many numbers the other night when I got started lol

36 hours soaked in water now to the paper towel to germinate some more, another 24 hours or so then Into root riot. Would it be ok to put some Azos on them to help with the root system in the root riot?

Should I start with a new reservoir of ro water when I'm ready to plant in system or keep what I have been testing the system with. I have some time to do this, thanks

Well 10 out 12 germinated and I'm holding my breath on the other 2. Put them in root riot and underneath a light 24\7. Is that too early?

The last 2 germinated so they will go into root riot later this morning.
