Hey folks, this is my first ever grow. I picked Himalayan Gold, which is mainly indica, because I enjoy the body high of the strain and though I've never smoked HG, I am looking forward to the end product. I had 11 other mistakes before my last seed showed life. I paper towel germinated, taking 9 days and planted in Foxfarm Light Warrior soil inside a cut off 2 liter, maybe 4" high. Now, after some loving care, my HG is about 5-6" and seems healthy.
She is getting 16/8 light from a generic grow light I got from Lowe's. I've got a 1 gallon and some Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil. It's now day 16 from the time I placed in the damp towels and I'm thinking I'll transplant in another 7 days or so, when my 2' T5 light comes in from Amazon. I'm on a fix budget and trying to not cut corners to much. Any thoughts are welcome...Moken69

from what i read tho is the roots dont like the light so might want to cover up the bottle from where the growing medium starts i'm no expert mind you !
