Unboxing:
The light arrived in tip top shape and found the ZE250 to be built well also seems quite sturdy. It was packed very well with no parts able to shift or move around in the box. I did not find hanging instructions enclosed in the box. I was able to figure out what to do, however, Being new to these lights hanging instructions would have been helpful.

I like the added logo stickers and so did my wife, She quickly snagged one for her trim box.

Grow Intro:
This is going to be a Breeding Project Grow. The closet I have converted into a grow space will become my breeding and grow light testing area. Since I have the ZE250 to work with, i want to expand into breeding. I always wanted to get into the breeding side and Pheno hunting. It brings more to the growing experience than just growing a plant to harvest. Having this space indoors will allow me to also breed males without risking other grows that may be near me. It will also help in not contaminating my own yearly outdoor grow.

Main Grow Objectives:
To grow out 1 male and 1 female allowing them to pollinate and create the F2 version of these seeds. This is also a test of my new growing space making adjustments as I learn.

Secondary Objectives:
Should both chosen plants be Female, will use 30% colloidal silver solution and attempt to create Feminized seeds.
If both are Male, will collect and attempt to store pollen for future use.

Starting Soil Specs:
I will be growing in my own amended soil mix. It is a mix of composted, Chicken Manure, Hard wood compost (4 year), Horse Manure, Peat, and Native soil sifted.
Starting Soil PH 5

Starting Soil Amendments for 15 gal of soil:
1 cup Dio Earth
1/2 Cup Epson Salt
1/4 per Gal mix of Dairy Doo Veg Blaster 8-1-8-35

Other Nutes and Amendments to be used when and If needed:
Dairy Doo Bloom Blaster 4-18-4 (Need Image)
Fox Farm Cal-Mag
NFTG Hades Down (PH Down)
NFTG Olympias Up (PH Up)

Grow Space:
My grow closet is 2' Wide x6' Long x 5' High (can be 7" high) This light will cover 2' x 3' of that and the rest of the space will be for fans and other needs.

I will be starting 6 select seeds in the Paper Towel Method. From these 6 seeds I will select the best sprouts and then the best two starter plants in the Grow Space.

Seed Specs:
The seeds are from an accidental Cross of "Sugar Black Rose (Female)" & "Blueberry Smoothie (Male)" and have named the new strain "Blacken Blueberry Rose"

I have a enough seeds to work with that I should be ok for at least 4 or more years. However, they are not feminized and are limited. I do not know the exact seed back source for this cross yet. Because of this I may not be able to back cross with the Original Parents. This would make these seeds limited to the F1 of this cross strain for now.

Sugar Black Rose (Female)
Sugar Black Rose is a mostly indica variety and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±53 days) and outdoors. Sugar Black Rose is a THC dominant variety and is/was also available as feminized seeds.

Enjoy a unique and exclusive experiences and fill your palate aromas and flavors never tasted before. This dominating Indica cross between both of the most appreciated genetics that has been invading most of the biggest connoisseurs indoor grows in the world for the last 20 years in the whole world. It will fill your mouth with flavors.

Genotype: 20% sativa / 80% indica
THC: 18%
Indoor Harvest Time: from 50 to 55 days
Production: 350 gr/m2 indoor
Effect: Medicinal
Resistance to mold: High
Outdoor Harvest Time: mid-September
Lineage: critical+ X black domina
Irrigation tolerance: High
Medicinal value: Very high

Crossed With:

Blueberry Smoothie (Male)

Blueberry Smoothie is a mostly indica variety and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±68 days) and outdoors. Blueberry Smoothie is a THC dominant variety and is/was never available as feminized seeds.

Mostly Indica
Flowering Time: 65-70 Days
Yield: Above Average

Characteristics
Blueberry Smoothie smells like a fruit smoothie with a nice aroma of fruits & berries. Her smoke is a smoothie smoke, and she delivers a super relaxing body high that is perfect for a nice relaxing evening on the couch. Blueberry Smoothie produces above average yields along with hard solid nugs, covered in heavy trichomes.

Leaving the glitch so I can report it and they can see what is happening

I think @Buds Buddy was right there is a glitch here with multiple images. Seems to just pick at random to post two images.

Nice light. Thanks for the tag...
I should have it mounted tomorrow and have some pics of it installed. I have to rethink the mounting a bit. :lot-o-toke:

That's awesome man. Congrats again. Looking forward to watching it in action. Sounds like a cool space for breeding too. Glad you are able to finally have a dedicated space for it. Last year I got some males from a couple cbd plants. I ended up bringing them inside into my bedroom, let them flower, grabbed some pollen, and culled them.

When you are breeding, when do you normally introduce the pollen? I'm interested in trying it but not super serious about it either. I need to work on my cultivation skills.

Thanks :) To be honest I'm just starting as well. What I learned was early to mid flower is best. Not when they are just forming but, more towards mid flower. Or just let them do their thing as you grow them together.

I'm in. Good seeds are hard to find here, so I want to try breeding too.
The light looks awesome.
I hear yeah, Yes you can order them, and I will in time, there is just something about breeding that has bitten my I gota give it a go bug. LOL

It's the thrill of the hunt. Purple buds with pink pistils, a one puff wonder, something that tastes divine, or all of the above. Not to mention the satisfaction of creating a new strain.

I agree 200% :D Make that 420%

Nice looking light. I like the 3 dimming switches & the snap in light bars. That's pretty cool for sure.
Yeah, that glitch will drive you crazy. Doing to you, the same it did to me. Didn't finish my post because of it. I'll try again tonight. Got to finish posting as it will be final pics for my Do-Si-Dos that I'll be harvesting over the weekend.

It was easy to pop together and yes the bars are very cool. I had it lit up and it is bright! One dial is for veg, more white, one is for bloom, more reddish blue and then third is UV.

The only work around I found was to combine images and the glitch seems to just happen at random. If you can't combine the images, delete the ones that double up in the bottom section and make a new post with those. It worked for me.

Soo my wife’s not the only one that steals the stickers as soon as they’re seen?:rofl: I feel better now

The baby beans are in the incubator, and the light is now up. This is going to take some getting used to. I'm so accustom to lesser grade lighting that I will need to re learn everything. LOL I was not sure I would like the square design but, I'm loving it for the area I have.

I think women liking stickers, stems from the sticker books from childhood. Kinda like hillbillies and hippies, to shiny things, it is a magnet to them.
