Mounting bracket inline fan

So I ordered an inline fan and there was no mounting bracket in the box, just a bag of screws and instructions. So my question is can I build some sort of frame out of wood and just sit the fan on it?

I’d ask the retailer or manufacturer to send replacement. Have you ever seen a roll of metal plumbing strap? Tons of great uses in the home, garage, tent or grow room. Type it in on giggle (google) & see pic of material, cool stuff. You could use old cut bicycle tire inner tube for noise & vibration gasket coupled w/ plumbing strap.
