Moving outside need natural pest control

Had to move outside the dome tent. Needed more room & wanted more sun. Now I need pest control. Natural would be good. Flowering just began a week ago. I have been keeping a keen eye on small worm/caterpillar like munchers..also had a few spiders. I find looking from the bottom up towards the light source, is a good way to spot most critters. But being outside the tent more pest are going to get on them now. I read planting garlic is a good idea. But I think it's too late for that perhaps. Or is it? Is there a natural spray I can make? What else could I do that's not crazy dangerous for consumption or expensive?

Found some info reading around here. Garlic is one. Predator bugs is another. But I'm not trying to buy bugs to let go outside. Avoid yellow colors because they attract some bugs. I think a home made pepper based spray? Wasn't clear on how to make it though. Soaps? Do I just mix up some dawn in a spray bottle? Also something called Safer Yard & Garden Insecticide. I'll look that one up.

Went today & got some neem oil. Then just recently read that neem oil isn't all that great. Also not to use it on flowering stages. I did buy some garlic clove. I'm thinking I need to make up some garlic spray & maybe some red pepper spray. I have some red peppers growing in my garden. Any advice on this or another option?

Natural pest control ah... interesting topic !

To me that would suggest beneficial or companion plants grown near by or sacrificial plants which some pests are more prone to go for than other plants in the near by area.

Mmm garlic spray will work to some degree a home made solution will more likely need to applied on weekly basis & after rain fall.

Soap based stuff/washing up liquid & diluted mix mainly works on aphids maybe some offers.

I think this going to be a learning curve like know thou pest & how to deal with it other wise a broad line prevention may help to some degree.

Yeah this is all my first rodeo. So everything is live and learn. I just finsihed making 2qrts of red pepper spray. Then a gallon of garlic spray. Says to let them sit for 24/48 hours before use.

I don't have time to grow companion plants now. Maybe next year. I do have marigolds I can use. I read spidermites like those so not sure about them now.

I've wondered about just cutting up garlic and setting it out around the two girls. Then replace it every other day. That's a lot of cutting garlic lol.
